Will this fit a Charles Dailey shotgun?

If I recall correctly, this sight ships with five different screws....SAE 3-56, SAE 5-40, SAE 6-48, and Metric 2.6MM and 3.0MM. Charles Daly guns have a 2.6MM bead, so just pick that one out of the bunch and use it to attach the sight. USE BLUE THREAD LOCKER on both the bead and the gun! Please note that the screws have different threads on both ends. One side screws into the bead base, and the other fits the threads in your gun. Simply, thread the screw into the bead base, then screw the other end into the gun. Use a rag and a pair of pliers to tighten firmly but do not over tighten. If the bead isn't straight, back out the threads on the bead by 1/4 turn or whatever is necessary. The threadlocker will ensure a strong bond even if it's a 1/4 turn loose.

Would it fit on a maverk 88

Yes. The Maverick 88 has a 5-40 front sight thread. Just choose the correct screw (multiple screws come in the package). Apply blue threadlocker to the threads, thread the screw into the base of the sight, then thread the sight/screw into the barrel.
