Great quality and sounds good too!
This ukulele arrive in a timely manner. Including all the accessories it was a great deal. I have played this uke for a good 6 weeks and am truly satisfied with the quality, sound, and craftmanship of this instrument. This uke was very well setup from the factory and I have not had to make any changes in the setup. I would highly recommend purchasing from this company.

Good for the money spent.
Very good for the money, but don't expect a high level instrument.

Excellent value for a Solid Spruce Top Tenor with EQ
This is an excellent ukulele, it is probably easily comparable to Ukuleles in $200 price range in terms of features, workmanship, playability and sound quality. The instrument I received looks exactly like the one in the pictures. The solid spruce top gives this uke a clear and bright tone. It may not be the choice spruce you see on expensive instruments, but it's cut very nicely, you can see the cross silk. Factory set up up is pretty decent: The nut action is perfect, the bridge action is a bit higher than I like, but it's certainly very playable. It's generally a good idea to wait for the wood to settle before adjusting the bridge action anyway. Intonation is spot on except for the E string which is very slightly sharp at the 12th fret. The tone on higher frets is remarkably clean. There are no buzzing frets or sharp fret ends. There are also no loose/buzzing components inside (as sometimes happens with Ukulele's with pickup and EQ). Laminated Bocote back and sides are visually striking, though I am not sure if they actually contribute to the sound. The uke arrived from China faster than expected and was packaged in a foam wrap that was placed a styrofoam container which was then placed in the sturdy outer shipping carton. Even though there were a few dents and rips in the outermost packaging, the instrument itself arrived in excellent condition.Unlike other mail order ukuleles I have received in the past, this one kept in tune right away, probably partly because there was already some decent amount of tension on the strings when it arrived. There was an "Aquila SuperNylgut" card attached to the head, so I am assuming that is the kind of strings that came from factory. They are pretty good strings, I don't have any plans to change them for now. Tuners seem to be pretty solid and easy to turn.Overall, this is a feature rich and enjoyable instrument and excellent value for your money. I will update this review with reliability observations in the future.
