Great and light
These are fantastic. They are actually a combined 142g lighter then the cheaper Shimano rotors my bike came with. The stopping power is excellent.

Great in all conditions with little noise and no fade!
I bought a full XT brake set to upgrade from a Deore level M506 caliper and RT 56 rotors. While those brakes are fine the XT with Ice tech rotors are flawless! I’ve been using them for three seasons now in mud, snow, rain and sand with zero issues. I mainly bike Cross Country and Trail ride.Pros: good modulation, clamp down hard when needed, no fade, easy to install, not noisy, look cool, good in all conditions and temps, Shimano dependability, high qualityCons: noneHighly recommended!

Great Product!
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Shimano Ice Tech Brake Rotor, Silver, 160mm, and it exceeded my expectations. The rotor's performance and reliability were exceptional, providing consistent and powerful braking even under demanding conditions. Highly recommend!

Test subject RT-86
I got this rotor to replace a pair of RT 56 but only got one to see if it was worthy of replacing both or replacing the old ones at all. Once installed they look and perform great super grabby and quiet. Just ordered the other one for the rear.Update:Hands down the best rotors out there. Replaced my HT's rotors and the difference was huge. I bought another pair for my full sus' tektros that are so noisy and again big difference. Highly recommended.

good concept of technology
like the cooling feature, but they bend pretty easily - not sure if its the plastic center but even with new caliper the rotor is touchy

Problem Solvers! Reviewed against the Cannondale Helix 6
This review is a comparison and solution for those in need of an upgrade.I upgraded from Cannondale Helix 6 hydraulic brakes on my 2014 Trail 4, which were cheap junk. After 4 months of having a brand new bike, I was having a lot of brake noise and violent frame vibration at all speeds. With my new bike still being under warranty, my LBS tried a few things like caliper alignment, fluid bleeding, and new Jaguire brake pads, but I got tired of the noise coming back and no results so I ordered these Ice Tech rotors and installed them myself. I also replaced the whole system with XT M-785 levers and calipers. These work in perfect harmony and stay cool, but most importantly they are smooth and quiet. The aluminum center bracket on these keeps the heat moving out the rotors and is supposed to help brake fade from excessive heat.If you have noisy brakes on your bike, consider this as a permanent fix. These have made me love my bike again!
