Purchased these for my daughter for her Christmas stocking! They’re sturdy, durable and don’t slip out of her hair. She has shoulder length, naturally straight, and fine hair.

The style is cute, and it would look very nice I'm sure if I can get it to stay in my hair. Only tiny pieces of hair can be clipped with this, and then the clip gets pulled down by it's own weight. The only way I've found to get it to stay in is to put it on after I've already secured my hair with bobby pins, but it's not terribly cute like that. I'm going to see if I can experiment with different twists and maybe a whole lot of hair spray. But yeah, in general not really functional, just ornamental.

i really liked the look of this in my hair, however it did not stay in my hair as it is very fine. If you have thicker hair this would work better. It is very easy to use. It only holds a smaller amount of hair so keep that in mind if you have really thick hair. The weight of it did make it slide down my hair. I don't know if that would be a problem for someone with thicker hair.

I just twirled my fine hair and clipped it in! No slipping and it stayed in all day!It’s so lightweight you don’t even feel it!I ordered 2 more for my mother and daughter.

If you have fine, straight hair like I do, keep in mind that these clips WILL escape any style you use them for. However, the design is simple and cute, and I've found that I'm using them even if I will be restyling throughout the day. I definitely don't regret buying them!

These hair clips look super cute in - I love how dainty they are! They fit well, but I have thick hair, so I have to be sure to get the right amount of hair in them so they close. If you have thin or fine hair, they may not stay in for you.

Three stars because its a good deal and because the concept is adorable. Sadly, the silver one came with some sort of rust on the side and the gold one came without the little notch for the piece to actually clip rendering it useless. They are cute and I so wish they had come the way they are supposed to. I might just wear the silver one and hope no one notices the discoloring on the side, but I was looking forward to the gold. For $6 it might be worth the risk to see if you get a good pair and if they even hold in your hair.
