BTunes Wireless Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter for V-Moda Crossfade M100 Headphones (Black)

With the shift to working from home I was looking for headphones that had decent sound quality. Initially I tried to use the VModas with the included cable but it was just too short for my setup.I used some earbuds but simply preferred headphones that were dedicated to my work setup. In comes this wonderful product. It has brought new life to my headphones where I am using them MUCH more then before.Battery life: I am able to get through a full day of work with about 4-6 hours of listening and 3-4 hours of meetings on the heavy days.Range: Maybe the one knock on these. Maybe 15-20 feet is the max and any obstruction will interfere with the connection. For me this works plenty well as I just sit at a desk.Sound Quality: I am no audiophile and frankly I didn't buy this to experience my music but more of a tool to get through the work day. For my needs (and likely 90% of use cases) the sound quality is great. The mic works really well too!Ease of use: Really simple setup. Hold down the power button on powering up will trigger pairing mode, select the BTunes device, and you are all good to go. On subsequent turning on it will automatically pair in a few seconds.Durability/Quality: I have had my device for 3 months now and have had no blips in usage. Still holding battery life, still pairing fine, and still working well for me.

So far this has transformed my M100’s into useful headphones again. I rarely used them anymore because none of my electronics had a headphone jack. Now it’s easy to listen and they sound 95% as good as corded. They get louder now as well. The only downside is that switching between devices is a pain but I can live with that. Battery life seems great so far and I can’t feel the extra weight. I would totally buy this again. Also it’s important to note that the headphones still fit in the case with the module attached.

Connection seems pretty solid though I didnt do any real testing on that. I didnt really notice any weight added so it didnt feel lopsided at all.Overall sound quality was pretty good for bluetooth.My one complaint was that I could tell there was a significant enough difference in sound quality wired vs bluetooth and that I really preferred wired.This is just a personal opinion and others may not even notice the difference. Maybe it also had something to do with the audio source (galaxy note 8). I dont consider myself an audiophile by any means, but I know what I prefer and I couldn't fiddle with EQ to get parity between wired and bluetooth.It definitely works well though so there are situations that I'd prefer wireless and take the quality hit such as exercising, cooking, or basically anything where the cord could snag something.I'd rate 4.5/5 if I could.

I've owned this product for a couple of weeks and it completely exceeded my expectations. The controls are intuitive and the battery lasts a long time. There are times where I charge it once every two days. The whole system is flush and I'm never scared of it falling out because of how secure it is. The Bluetooth range is the best I've ever gotten, even though it says one meter I could walk outside my house and it still reached. Overall really good and made headphones I loved even better

UPDATE 28APR2019: My adapter stopped working after 4 months. After working with customer service to troubleshoot they replaced it with no problems under the 1 year warranty. Customer Service was fantastic. I have no complaints.ORIGINAL: I've only been using this for a couple days, but so far I'm incredibly impressed. Audio quality is great, connects easily with my phone, controls are intuitive. It's much less expensive to pick this up than to keep looking at the latest $350 wireless V-Modas. I love my M-100s, and now I can enjoy them with or without wires.One note: When I first set-up and paired this with my phone, the audio on my music player was jumpy and stuttering. I restarted my phone and after that everything has worked without a hitch.

This thing is amazing. It looks a little clunky, but the audio quality is amazing. I normally use my M100s on my desktop with an amp and the sound quality and volume is somehow there. I can’t stress how loud these get and yet the bass still booms while the highs shine. I can’t imagine that the actual wireless cross fades sound much better than this, if they can approach it at all.

Works great with the V-Moda Crossfade M-100 Master headphones. I bought the Avantree Oasis B Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter to push wireless signal all throughout my house. Amazing hardware, great quality, easy to setup. Would highly recommend if you have the M-100s without wireless capability. The head phones, the transmitter, and the BTunes receiver support the aptX codec V-Moda promotes.

Really enjoy not having the wires off my headphones any more. Sound quality is pretty good. Connected with my phone no problem, but haven't had any success connecting to my MacBook Pro running Mojave. Main reason I bought was to not have the cord interfere with my external keyboard when set up at my work station, but can't use headphones directly with my workstation.
