Hero Extra Light Fountain Pen

It works well for inexpensive pen, just work it took Cartridges.

This was one of the pen that i used when i was in high school in India. My friends wish to have one but i have three different one. Hero 240 and Hero 320 with arrow at the head. Then this one. This one feels like cheap, i don't know i think it's the fake one but write well and feels so light in hand.

Came without a case, cap intact with pen, leaving point exposed in the box while transferring. Ink cartridge not working properly, cannot suck ink into the chamber

Although the pen writes great, the case that holds the ink broke after the second time opening to refill. Easy to refill and use. Lightweight!

The item did not contain the "Standard Gift Box" that was advertised. Pen seems quite good so far.

pros...this is one smooth fountain pen. It writes very clean lines, if not on the thicker side. This pen uses the press type ink reservoir. When refilling the pen, remember to squeeze the clip firmly and then release is slowly to draw up the ink with fewer air bubbles. This pen also has a pretty hard and smooth grip. cons... this pen is quite hefty. Heavy if you ask me, and I usually like to keep the caps on when I write with a fountain pen. This pen is the exception, I only write with the cap off. It is just really heavy and I find that I can't write for very long with it on. It also has a snap on cap, which on occasion starts to not click on the body as tightly. But it has so far never fallen off.

You can't beat Hero refillable fountain pens for the price. I love being able to write using nicer pens and better inks, without filling up a landfill (by using plastic disposable pens).

The pen came in with a severely bent nib so ink could not be loaded into the reservoir.the one sent was not functional.
