Replaced a worn interior knob with this one and it was a straightforward swap. Latch lined up with the existing bore and backset on a standard 1-3/8" door, so I didn’t have to drill anything new. Installation took about 15 minutes with a Phillips screwdriver and the included instructions. The finish is even and doesn’t feel cheap in the hand. Operation is smooth — latch catches cleanly and the knob doesn’t wobble after tightening. Keys (if this is the keyed version) worked on the first try and the lock mechanism feels positive, not sloppy. Good value for a basic residential knob. If you’re swapping hardware in an apartment or older house and want something that fits common preps without extra fuss, this does the job. Would buy again for another door.

Easy put together and nice design

I believe most of the negative reviews regarding this doorknob set is from DIYers who don’t understand the difference between a basic bedroom or privacy doorknob and that of an entryway locking doorknob set. This is a locking privacy replacement doorknob set meant for bedrooms and bathrooms that can easily be opened with just a flatblade screwdriver or coin in an emergency. It is not meant to be used as an entry or high security doorknob replacement. Secondly, very basic hardware knowledge is needed to replace a doorknob set and not everyone possesses basic hardware understanding. To the more experienced homeowner, most of us could easily replace a doorknob set with our eyes closed…it’s that easy once you’ve taken one apart. Yes, it’s a little more challenging getting the two screws started because the knob doesn’t separate like older models but all it takes is to assemble the two ends loosely before pushing them together onto the door. Took all of 10 minutes to remove and replace. Update: just replaced another doorknob and it took same amount of time.

Very Very easy to install. Actually my first time installing any type of door knob. No need to even read the instructions, its pretty cut and dry. Works as intended, Sturdy and well built. Great price.

This thing is half the price of the big box versions, but looks and feels just as good. Actually, I like these better than the big box versions. These are just solid and smooth. They are also very easy to install. No issues whatsoever.

Installation was a breeze. It took longer to remove the old knob than it took to replace it. The finish is absolutely beautiful. Will slowly buy more to replace every door in our house.

Installed and works well. However there were no keys in the box. I guess I will need to remove it and return if I cannot get a set of keys.

Für Links und Rechtshänder optimal zu bedienen, jedoch nicht mit Ellenbogen. Wenn beide Hände voll sind und die Tür aufgemacht werden soll. Wird es schwierig. Geschmackssache. Uns gefällt es sehr. Unser Hund kann jetzt keine Tür öffnen
