Onega-Zyme Ultra is great for those with poor absorption of food and especially if you don't digest fat well. It contains 5000 units of lipase which is more than any non-prescription supplement I could find. You can take up to three with a meal but if you have a major pancreatic problem (clinical but not cancer) that interferes with you digestion) you may need prescription enzymes which are much more expensive.How do you know if it is your pancreas instead of wheat gluten, milk sugar or any of many other digestive problems. See a doctor. Checking the pancreas is possible with one of two stool tests - pancreatic elastase (single test) or 72 hour stool collection. If those don't show anything, then you are in for the colonoscopy routine. I've tried other digestive products this one seems to work the best.I was told the best way to see if they work proper is to test it by openingthe 2 caps on cooked oatmeal and stir on and off for 20 min to an hour,the oat meal will will liquify if the enzymes work. this product worked the best by far
