Did not germinate
I had two separate orders of the same seeds. One looks like crushed pepper. The other one looks like regular papaya seeds. The one that looks like crushed pepper was shipped by itself in a thin white plastic envelope. So I suspect the seeds got crushed in transit. The one that looks normal papaya seeds was shipped in a box along with other items from Amazon that I had purchased.I tried germinating both of the seeds. None of them germinated. I'm in Hawaii, so it is tropical weather. I believe the Dwarf Waimanalo papaya originated from Hawaii. So, I guess I'll try to find some trees at the local nurseries rather than trying more of these seeds.

Summer Solstice Seedlings
Received 18 seeds total and they all looked like papaya seeds. Planted 12 on June 3rd and the first seedling emerged June 17th. Great germination results so far- I have 6.5 seedlings and I think the rest will pop up any day. Will try to post updated pics end of summer.

Seeds not viable.
Don’t bother. I have planted many seeds in my time including papaya.. I live in Hawaii so I know the weather is perfect for papayas. I just wanted a dwarf variety. None of the seeds germinated. Very disappointed.

Two weeks and still no sprouts
I thought that perhaps I’ve done something wrong, so I bought a second batch boy was I wrong! This is absolute bunk, don’t buy the seeds!I bought the original 10 back a couple weeks ago. I believe it was around November 17. they’re in a basic greenhouse environment. I had a heating pad Along with some LCD lights. Perfect conditions, I’ve gone everything from tomatoes to zucchini under these conditions, and it worked perfectly. Pygmy papaya’s? My ass!

Only one seed germinated.
A lot of people seemed to say the seeds didn't look like seeds. Mine looked like seeds. It said I would get 10 and I got 14 seeds. Only 1 of the 14 germinated. I think what is growing is a papaya; it doesn't look like anything else in our area (Indiana). It was outside all summer so something else could have dropped in the pot. I just planted half and none of those germinated. Then I soaked the rest in water for 24 hours and one of those is the one that germinated and it took like 2 months for it to come up. And it's growing slow. It had been outside and I just moved it into the sunroom for the winter.
