Extremely Powerful Tactical Torch
The media could not be loaded. I never realised torches like the Trustfire existed until I took possession of this one for review. The T70, at first sight, looks every bit the professional and if a torch can have class, this one’s certainly got it. This is not the type of torch you might associate with getting yourself safely to the shed at night with the purpose of gathering firewood for the burner, this is a serious piece of equipment, which, although more suited to someone involved within a rescue team or a skilled night hunter, will also be of equally great value to someone like ourselves who live in a very rural area where light pollution is almost non-existent in parts. This torch can throw a beam an awesome 1,000 metres when it’s powered up on turbo, which is actually the default setting for the lamp, producing a light of some 2,300 lumens. Using the side button, you can easily cycle through the varying stages of brightness from turbo through to the lowest setting and by holding the button for 1.5 seconds you will activate the strobe. Bear in mind that from a full charge, using the torch on turbo will only afford you 100 minutes of battery life whereas, high will get you around 12 hours and medium around 68 hours. It’s worth mentioning that there are two accessories included with the pack, both relating to the hunting aspect of this product. A magnetic flashlight mount with clamp for securing the torch to a hunting rifle and a remote switch, which screws on to the end of the torch allowing control of the lamp while holding the weapon.Regarding the torch itself, its construction is of aerospace aluminium alloy, very light but very strong and looks incredibly sleek. With a weight of 407g or around 14 ounces in old money this flashlight really is a powerhouse for its size. The product arrives in a very nice and compact moulded case, the foam interior of which holds all the pieces associated with the torch securely. Two x 18650 rechargeable batteries and USB battery charger are included in the pack. With a price tag of £121.99, this product may only find a limited market amongst professional customers or organisations and might be out of reach of ordinary torch buyers, possibly in rural areas, even though they too would benefit from its awesome power.I have filmed a very short video which I’ve posted below, using the trees at the front of my house that might be helpful in giving an idea of the power and intensity of the beam.

Very good torch, mount didn't work for me.
I'm new to PCP Air Rifle shooting and I thought I'd like to try a torch mount before spending hundreds on some kind of night vision solution. This kit is not the one for me, I've not ended up with a rifle mounted torch, but the torch is so good I don't really mind. The 2300 lumen torch is just super. I love the battery indicator on the side, which doubles as a brightness selector. My last LED torch would cycle between brightness modes and flashing mode when it was turned on, this one does not. When it is turned on it remembers which brightness mode it was on, which I find very useful. The on/off button is on the base of the torch and works very well. The whole torch looks waterproof and I'd expect it to survive a fair few drops. It's also really very bright. The top brightness level is too bright for me, which is just how I like it. There's a supplied tailcap extension that I was hoping to attach to my rifle allowing remote torch operation. It's got two buttons, one turns the torch on and off, the other turns the torch on while it is held down. Five stars so far!The batteries are a welcome change to buying endless quantities of C batteries. They're rechargeable in the supplied charger and take 2-3 hours to go from flat to full. There's really not much to say here as they just work. The mount really lets the kit down, at least for me. I don't know what other shooters would make to it. So far as I can tell it is the same product as the sold separately [[ASIN:B07QZ18NH8 GM03 Magnetic Mount]. The whole thing looked too big for scope mounting, so I was hoping that it would attach to my rifle's air tank or modifier, neither of which are ferrous enough to allow the magnet to attach. I did try mounting the torch to my fridge and I can confirm that it is a very strong magnet - you just really do have to attach it to the steel of your gun barrel. I'm not going to remove stars for this as it's really my inexperience at fault, not the mounting system. I did have to pad the mounting system with supplied pads to allow it to accept the torch, I suspect these pads would have to be placed carefully to not point the torch to one side or another once mounted, but I can't confirm how tricky that would be.
