Dorman 3157R-SMD 3157 Red 5050SMD 20LED Bulb Compatible with Select Models

I got these hoping to plug them into my running lights and turn signals for a sweet red glow effect but when I plugged them in (after 20 min of trying to figure out how to remove the headlight in the first place) it doesn't work. Like at all. Come to find out you need a power regulator in-between the led bulb and the source. And those are another 10 bucks. Granted it's not a lot but it's another thing to find and buy then hopefully it works.

Bulb works. Doesn't work on an 09 ford with out the bulb out error, which turns out is why I bought these "error free" bulbs. Package says it may need a resisitor. Description doesn't say this.

The good: Bright red LED bulbs. Quality construction. Fits perfectly. The bad: Installed in the taillight assemblies of a 1999 ford expedition. While the brakelights are quite bright, there is not much of a difference in brightness between the tail lamps/driving lamps and the brake lamps. During the evening and night, this is NO BUENO as it increases the chances of getting rear ended as people may not be able to see the brake lights light up over the brighness of the tail lights.

These suck. Do not work.

Works as promised

Very cheap. Had to really wiggle it in the socket to get it turned on. Decided to send it back after one drive.

Does not work in a 2002 Toyoda Tundra

well made product just not bright enough you can see at night. led circuit has a lighter load on blinking system causing blinking rate to increase if u decide to do all indicator lights in ur vehicle then you will need a load resistor connected in parallel with new led bulbs due to the rapid blink rate to slow blink rate down.
