ROCKETX 8" Electric Scooter with Shock Absorbers, Up to 13 Miles Range, Commuting Scooter

My son is 28 and he loved this scooter! He rode a scooter in Paris and wanted one after that he lives close to his work and he rides it to and from work!

To and from school, i used from September to march 2nd(7 months). Lasted and worked well until today the back wheel cover just broke off(the foot brake region). I think i do have a lot of miles on it which made it all worth it, but still a shame. It wasn't overwhelmingly heavy when i carried it into class with me-there is also elevators everywhere on campus.(wasn't allowed in certain buildings tho). Yet to see how the protection plan covers this. Will update on this...Price was at 300 with protection- this has no features that other scooters do. Its just a battery on the screen, kickstand. e brake and accelerator and a light. Check a walmart store near you to find a better deal on a better scooter. Wish i would have waited until black friday to get this one***once i was able to figure out the third-party protection plan claim process, i was able to get my scooter refund!

It is easily to assemble. It is fun. It charges fast.However, the battery life is nowhere to 8 hours. I would say closer to 40 minutes when used by an adult. It is not fast - especially for an adult (my wight is about 75kg). Two other issues: there is no light in the back. And the breaking is really sub-par. I live in NYC where you need quick reaction time (in a way it's a good thing that it is kind of slow).In short, better for having fun in the suburb. Disappointing for a serious commuter

Used the scooter around campus, worked great for 3 months but the back wheel jammed off and eventually wouldn't turn back on. I bought the protection plan but they said they couldn't fix it either, so I got reimbursed fully. Would not recommend.

My daughter is using this at a very “hilly” college campus. She’s loving it! Perfect solution for lightweight and fast.

A just okay scooter for the price. Travels at a max of 12mph. No tailight(I strapped a small red light to the rear wheel side fender. Headlight turns on via a small switch fixed above it. For the current price of just over $200 it is okay I think as a first scooter for someone needing to get into personal electronic transportation devices.

Don't buy. First one did not work at all. Second one failed after 40 days. And you are out of warranty from amazon.NO warranty from the seller.BEWARE!!!
