Great for what I needed (College Laptop)
I will update this later but I received this laptop about two hours ago and I'm already in love.First, the screen1080p IPS Touch Screen on a $600 laptop...woah. It gets insanely bright and using windows with touch is amazingly simple. I actually prefer it to using the touchpad.Second, the keyboardThe keyboard took a bit to get used to. It feels like a few keys should be in different places but typing is very comfortable and natural. The keys are nicely backlit and have a good travel amount. (I'll get to the build quality of it in a sec) Also, nobody explained this to me but the FN key allows you to use the F keys. Otherwise, you will be using the command underneath them (brightness, sound, etc).Lastly, the build quality. This was the main reason I pulled the trigger on this model. The laptop has a full aluminum construction and has NO give whatsoever. The only note I would make is that it weighs almost 5 pounds. Its pretty heavy for its size but it feels really lightweight coming from a Lenovo G780 (7 1/2 pounds). I know I'm in the honeymoon phase but I love this.Side note, this laptop isn't really designed for anything like gaming/video editing (that's what my main rig is for). It's designed for web browsing, watching movies/videos, doing homework, etc. It's perfect for that.

Avoid - screen has "fighting seizure robots" mode!
Nice looking laptop, but had a serious screen flicker problem out of the box. I could not work around it, without setting really dim display brightness and lower resolution than I paid for. (It's interesting that one of the poor reviews below was also for the same issue - maybe that person received the same item?). I rated above one star because the seller did quickly issue a refund, no questions asked (although, did not pay for shipping, which I knew about up front...). Don't order this model from this seller, at least.

Very nice laptop, beautiful bright sharp touch screen
Very nice laptop, beautiful bright sharp touch screen, seems speedy enough so far. Very quiet, fan only comes on occasionally if I'm working it hard. Surprisingly good sound from a laptop, a little thin but overall not bad. Nice build quality, the metal casing feels great!Having problems with Bluetooth but that is probably a Windows 10 thing I'm guessing. Although upgrade to Windows 10 was simple.Only other minor niggle I have is that the keyboard is a little flat. Easy for my fingers to slip off into other keys cause the fall of the key isn't great and that bugs me. Not an issue for most I'm sure but I prefer a bit more feedback from a keyboard personally. All together a very nice laptop for the price.

Defective
The most disappointing purchase I have ever made. A few weeks after receiving the laptop the touch pad stopped working. So I returned it for a new one. I received the second laptop and after a few weeks the touch pad stopped working on that one. This time I contacted Dell and sent it in to get fixed. They replaced the touch pad, sent it back, and it was still defective. I then again contacted dell and sent it in once again to get fixed. This time they replaced the 'logic board' and sent it back to me. After a week of working properly the laptop is back to being defective. Wouldn't buy again for $25.

Nice Laptop But ...
I have been using it for a couple of days now. It is a nice laptop - fast, light, good display and quiet. However it has some of what I consider drawbacks although others may like these aspects. The touch pad is HUGE. This means that the keyboard is pushed way back towards the display which makes it is a reach to get to the keys. Also, the keypad is a bit on the small side for my liking. If I had actually poked around on this laptop before purchasing it I probably would not have bought it only because of the user interface. Who knows, after I get used to it I may change my mind and start to really like it.

Great price and features
This is a great laptop for the price. It was one of the few laptops that had 1920x1080 resolution and backlit keyboard in this price range. I'm not sure if I'll regret not going for the model with the dedicated graphics card and 4K resolution, however this still lets me use photoshop without an issue. Most of the time I use my custom desktop for major photo/video editing and running aircrack-ng against dictionaries. It was worth purchasing the lower end model price wise without the 12GB ram and ssd drive upgrade. I was able to purchase 16GB ram for 74.00 and installed a Samsung Evo 850 500GB SSD drive for 174.00. After those upgrades it will meet all my needs for awhile. I've also dual booted this with Kali Linux 2.0 and Windows 10. I didn't run into any driver issues thank God. This is a Ubuntu certified laptop so if you want linux on it this will work for you as well.*****If you buy this laptop you will definitely want to put an ssd drive in it immediately.Every computer I own has one so starting this computer up was a reminder of how much of a difference they truly make******Cons-Trackpad is horrible with Windows 10. I'm hoping a driver update is issued eventually.-No SSD Drive
