After 15 years of bare hands, these things are incredible.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got a pair of these for both my wife and I. We've been doing CrossFit for over 15 years, but recently started working out in our apartment complex gym. The pull up bar is really slippery, and they don't allow people to use chalk. So I ordered these grips, and holy frijole, they are amazing. I first used them for Murph about a month ago. I came back in from the run, and easily knocked out 26 butterfly pull ups. They are also short enough, that there is very little risk of them binding on themselves and getting stuck. They seem to be holding up pretty well, though I've only had them for 6 weeks or so.

Get them!
A great product, highly recommended! The grips prevent ripping up my hands, keeping me on the bar longer to pile up reps or work on technique. Customer service it stellar. The emails from Element 26 provide exellent information on product use and additional exercise tips.

DONT FALLOW THE SIZE GUIDE
Super grippy but the quality and fit are to be debated. I’ve only owned these grips a little while and they are already frayed and a bit stiff. And the most important part I should not have fallowed the size guide🥲 they are WAYYYYY too short I got a medium and it it barley comes to the edge of my palm definitely should have gotten an xl or more.

They're ok. They definitely protect the hands, but not very functional.
I've had these for over 6 months now. They are ok. They definitely protect the hands from ripping, and they're great to wear if my hands are already ripped, but the thickness of the material, the stiffness of the material, and the overall bulkiness of the item makes it more difficult to perform most movements.I've used these for pullups, bar muscle-ups, toes-to-bar, cleans, and snatches. When I have these grips on, I have no concerns at all about ripping my hands, which is great. But having this thick, stiff, rubber item between my hand and the bar makes every movement more awkward and difficult. The shape of the grip doesn't quite conform to my hand. I have to work harder to hang on to the bar during kipping pullups and bar muscle-ups. It wears down my grip strength faster. It's common for me to rip these off in the middle of a workout because I no longer have the grip strength to hang on to the bar, and then the movements are so much easier after I've taken these things off. It becomes a tradeoff - keep these on to protect my hands from ripping, or take them off to have an easier grip on the bar.Another negative is that they end at the PIP joints, so they don't cover the entire finger. The edge of the grip digs into the skin, which is uncomfortable, especially when doing a lot of unbroken reps.I recently tried the Victory X2 grips, and those were far more comfortable. I'll be switching to those.

Loops Don't Last
The loops broke off within the first six months, but still usable. Lasted a couple of years, and now they are finally separating. I'll be getting another pair without the loops this time.
