Very neat and functional
The media could not be loaded. Easy to install with the template guides. Works perfectly. Clever concept and design. Quality.Used this to stop a fire door banging closed. It slows down the action at the same time ensuring the door shuts tight.

This is the device you need to stop doors slamming and then gently soft closing them.It’s great. It even looks a bit steam punk.

Softens the close but doesn’t fully shut the door - so a safety hazard.
Not strong enough to shut the door properly, so not usable. Wasn’t able to return as the seller wouldn’t provide return postage and as it was overseas the cost would have been almost as much as the item. Would recommend looking for a sturdier version.

Should have done this 7 years ago!
Just perfect for the front door of a shared building. No more slamming and makes sure the door is closed every time. Much enhanced security. Easy to install. Should have done this 7 years ago!

Solid quality, but too industrial looking for our home
These are solid, industrial fittings which look like they'd do the job superbly. Trouble is, they *look* like solid, industrial fittings and so were rejected by the family committee on aesthetic grounds, and we returned them. They also seem to need a flat wall / lintel immediately above the door, and our architrave protrudes too far to enable fitting (at least, that's how it seemed - as I've said, these didn't actually go up). Oh well, back to doors slamming in the wind...<Sigh>
