Too Good for the Price--Fantastic Purchase!
I was looking for some everyday use headphones that are relatively cheap and yet sound nice. These are simply amazing. The sound quality is too good for the price (got them on here for a little over $20), and the build seems solid. Very nice looking product. Do not hesitate to purchases these for your next wired headphones. They have fantastic sound all around; nice bass and perfect brights; a very wide stereo sound if your media player is pushing that kind of thing. I use a Cowon J3 and have it tweaked the way I really want it to sound for use everyday on the car stereo, and these headphones sound perfect with the same settings (I have used other headphones (wired and Bluetooth) that required a completely different eq to sound okay). With the earbuds supplied, these are fairly noise isolating; it's hard to hear what's going on around you and easier to hear the music. Nice. I can't express how happy I am with this purchase. Would buy again in a heartbeat--even if they didn't last as long as headphones normally do; for the price and the sound quality it pushes into my head, they're a no-brainer. Not that I have heard these have any issues with that--plus, according to this Amazon product page, these have a 1-year warranty. Also, in case it matters to you, these are nicely loud headphones; you could use these while running a lawn mower (or snowblower--it's February in PA!) with no problem (which I do a lot). Comes with two (!) nice carrying cases for your pocket and 4 different earbuds (one is some kind of foam, the others are different sizes of that rubbery gel material). For me, the medium sized gels worked great, and I have found that they stay well in my ears even when I engage in a little headbanging. Man, these are great headphones.UPDATE: I have switched to the foam earbuds that come included and now prefer them to the gel type. I found that during prolonged use, I had to adjust the other ones fairly often, and it became tricky to get them to sit just right at times. Other reviewers had mentioned that the foam ones were better on here, so I gave them a try, and I definitely find these stay seated just right with no issues. Sounds the same.

Great value, great sound, questionable built quality, but worth it.
*I bought these full price, I was NOT offered anything to review*for the price, these are great. warm mid sound, mostly clear highs, a bit of muddy lows, but still, for under $30 these are better than anything else I've gotten. the build quality on the earpiece plastic driver housing feels a bit weak, but the cables are nice with a sort of braided texture to the rubberized cords, makes them hard to get permanent knots (but not impossible) no cable noise from rubbing against things either, overall if these last more than a month buying them again would still be a better value option vs $80+ IEM type earbuds. the warm mid tones really are nice, and far different from the sharp mids i've gotten out of other similarly priced earbuds. comes with a nice "carbon-fiber"-esque zippered hard case, a felted pouch to hold them in also, a velcro strap to store them with, three extra sets of earbuds (the default fit my ears great, but there's smaller and larger too) and the presentation in the box it came in was great. I feel the accessories money could have been better spent on a better build quality for those driver housings, but opening them up was very fun. and the accessories are nice, having two different ways to store them, pouch or zippered hard case is also nice.I didn't notice any imperfections in the product I got, but the two-piece plastic driver earbud housing does seem like a failure point to be concerned with. for the quality of sound and the price range these are at, they are easily worth multiple purchases even if they fail after a few months.

For the price, this will work
For the price it's nice. If you want great sound and are willing to pay more, keep looking. There are some great reviews from audiophiles that know a lot more about this than I do. The packaging here is solid. The buds look and feel like a comparable set for $200. The sound on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. There is a lack of clarity, when the volume is pushed. There is not real bass content, even when maximizing the EQ setting on an IPod. The highs are a bit tinny. The buds fit well in the ear, with no discomfort. I will likely keep these in my travel bad and use them to watch movies during business travel, but that's it. For music, I don't think these will ever come out of the case.I listened to a high end set of another company, passing thru an airport in Taiwan (Bose store) and was amazed at how good the sound was, but it comes at a price. If you are truly looking for sound, I would suggest spending more money, reading more reviews and doing some research. If you want something that's ok, looks good and is functional for the money, these will work.

Alright. Mic died. Earpiece loose
The construction feels solid, but quality control seems lacking. One of the original earpieces was loose and would come off constantly. Maybe the groove on the inside to keep it in place wasn't deep enough or something, but I ended up losing it and replacing both with some extras from another pair and it stayed fine. The microphone worked initially but after no time it all it completely stopped working. Kind of sucks because I would use it for calls, but oh well. It's been over a year and sound quality remains good in both ears. So thats a plus as I hate it when one side weakens. Other than that, I'm not a big audiophile, so I can't really give more info. The cord casing is a strange gummy sort of material that almost sticks to itself. Seems to hold onto dust and dirt easily as it always comes of dirty after I wipe it with alcohol. It seems to be strong and resistant to damage in any case.I would not buy them again, given the opportunity.
