Not much support, shows wear fast, but excellent as an unloader brace undersleeve
If you are looking for a support sleeve, this is not for you. It does provide MILD support, but I have a torn meniscus, so I need a little more support. So I am currently using these as an undersleeve for my unloader brace, and for that purpose they are pretty good, just wish that they were 2" to 4" longer. After using daily for about a month, they are starting to show signs of wear. the elastic is starting to pop out of the weave and it is beginning to pill.Prosgood airflow breathe abilityExcellent range of motionConsshow signs of wear fast (30 days), but not as fast as neoprene (1 use)provides only MILD supportWish it was 2" to 4" longerBottom line recommendation depends on what you are going to uses them for. For the price, I would say if you only need mild support, give them a try. I can say that these are my third favorite sleeves I have used, Powerlix making my first two favorite sleeves. See below for my top three compression sleeves.Top 3 favorite compression sleevesPOWERLIX Knee Brace SupportASIN: B07P2XSK5XProvides the best support of any compression sleeve I have tried, I have had it the longest and it shows the least wear, and it was one of the least expensive (11.99 each on sale).PowerLix Compression Knee SleeveASIN: B07B3VPD3HProvides the 2nd best support, but has an excellent range of motion and is extremely comfortable, so much so, I wear them to bed when my knee is in too much pain to sleep. (14.99 each on sale)Mava Sports Knee Compression Sleeve SupportASIN: B078W85Z9JThis is what I use as an undersleeve for my unloader brace. I have tried MANY, and while I wish this one was 2” to 4” longer, it still works the best for all day comfort under a brace. If you are just using it as a compression sleeve, I would recommend the above two for that purpose. This one has shown signs of wear after wearing less than 30 days, it has started to pill a little, and the elastic has started to unravel in spots, but its still the best under brace I have found. (16.96 for two)

Well made, fits as directed to measure, life changer
After years of jogging I finally had to stop 3years ago as my knees just hurt to much to run. For 3 years I’ve had a distinctive limp (“What’s wrong .. do you have a flat tire?”). Somebody new at my gym, noticing my struggles suggested buying knee compression sleeves. Younger guy too, who was wearing them. Well, that got rid of my “those are the aged” opinion, so I bought these. Truly a life changer as several people have already noticed I’m not limping …. And not just at the gym. These fit wonderfully under dress pants and leave no trace of being worn and are not uncomfortable to wear for hours at a time. I can now cut the grass without pain and without taking a break (this may be a bad thing if you’ve gotten out of cutting the grass by complaining about knee pain).

Great for pain and swollen knees!
I decided to order these based on reviews and was happy to see you get a pair for the same price of a single from their competitors. I was a little skeptical they may be of lesser quality but that doesn't appear to be the case at all. I took the measurements according to their instructions and was at the upper range of a medium. Wanting a snug fit in case these stretch out like others I've tried, I ordered the mediums. So far these are snug and provide good compression. After reading countless reviews it seems apparent to me you just have to try a couple sizes or brands to find the one that works best for you. For $20 a pair, these are well worth trying and I would recommend them. If you find an issue with these return them and try another size or brand. The Ultraflex are nice too, but double the price and similar results for me.Update: while I like the look and compression these provide, I had issues with these staying in place after the first day. They tended to work their way down my thigh and slightly bunch up behind my knee. I found my self pulling them up pretty frequently. I really like them, but I need a sleeve that will stay in place. Returning and going to try another brand.

Mava truly helps to protect your knees
This is my third pair of knee sleeves I have purchased from Mava. The first two pairs I bought became to big for me, only Bc I have lost a lot of weight. The first two pairs never lost there shape or hold on my knee. I highly recommend that you was them in cold water and air dry them. This new pair in a Medium!!! I love how it fits me very well and it helps to protect my knees as I jump, squat and run. I would definitely buy it again. By the way my first two pairs I passed it on to my friend that has been having knee problems.

Rolls Up the Leg
A little disappointed with this pair. The first pair a purchased a few years back were really good and never rolled up the leg, constantly protecting my knees. This is not the case with this recent purchase. They are constantly rolling up towards the knees, loosening up, which defeats the whole purpose of wearing them. Also note that I purchased the same size I ordered before, so it has nothing to do with size

Very sturdy! Very Comfortable!
I usted them for work in a warehouse setting. Helps you get though the day with less fatigue. I stand, bend, squat for 8 hours.I didn't get to use them long for reasons I won't get into but I still wear them in the house while wearing my crutches and they offer great support and are very comfortable.I will say the velcro catches onto the sleeves so close them up to prevent them from getting ugly too quick.Bought a pair for my girlfriend to use at the gym.

Size is off
Order a size larger. Too big. Got the small size. Still don't fit too good.

Very tight if your measurements are right at the top of their size ranges. Measure carefully!
The sizing of these seems just about right, from my experience. My legs have been pretty athletic over the years (!) and fit right at the top of the L-large range, after I'd done the appropriate measuring. I wondered whether to go up to XL or stick with L, but I just couldn't see why I would go for compression sleeves and not have them compress me enough. The years of atheticism have compressed my knee cartilage and, rather than suffer with arthritic pain just because I've stayed fairly fit I thought I'd use these to help comfort when working outdoors, both in terms of knee support and also general warmth - because cold on occasionally painful "iffy" joints isn't especially pleasant, so why suffer it?On me, the L size is very tight. Not to the point of affecting circulation or anything like that, but not especially pleasant for someone who's right on the border between L and XL. If the XL is anything like this, it would actually be too comfortable and not a compression sleeve at all with my measurements right at the bottom of the range. Frankly it would have been better for Mava to have made overlapping ranges, so there's always a pair of compression sleeves that any of us can use that have our individual measurements somewhere in the middle of the range - in which case I'd have gone with the L-XL rather than the L or the XL - if you get my drift.I've worn them for long mornings working on a friend's garden and suffered no ill effects, although the lack of sensation through them makes wearing heavy clothes feel a bit strange.I'll probably use them also when cycling just to help keep the temperature up in my joints, which can get quite chilled when the weather's cold enough. They look well made and I don't forsee any major problems long-term with them, although I wouldn't complain if they stretched just a little bit! In fact, I'm counting on it!

A very happy buyer - running pain free again - hopeful :)
I've been running for about 1 year, and since reaching longer distances (over 15km), especially when I push myself, I have suffered considerable knee pain on the side of my knee. This has sometimes stopped my running training and is also a constant worry. So, I started looking for some sort of knee support to see if this would help.Based on good reviews, this was the first knee support I've tried. I've used it for two long runs (over 10 kms) and so far I'm impressed. For both runs it definitely seemed to stop knee pain during the run and I didn't get my usual knee pain for the day or two after the run.The supports are sturdy and seem as if they will wear well.I find them a little uncomfortable to wear (they are obviously hotter than wearing nothing, seemed a little itchy on my sensitive skin, and are quite tight). But I don't notice this too much once I start running. The top of the supports also have a small tendency to roll down, but not too much and easy to pull up again.Given the dramatic improvement in removing knee pain, I am happy with the minor 'niggles' above. This is the only knee support I've tried, so I can't say if they are better than any others. Knee supports seem to be one of those very personal things - what works for some doesn't seem to work always for others. This worked for me.

Seem great. I am very hopeful. Orange ones are great!
I have had a painful knee for 3 months. I am 65 years of age (where did the years go?). Used to play sports. Knee trouble started after just walking the dog 6 miles. Doctor never even looked at my knee, just said "Oh..that will take a long time". NHS just emailed me 2 exercises (no appointment); had 2 sessions with a private sports therapist at £50 per session. She was good but in reality no significant improvement. I have only worn these knee supports 1 day so far (I will re-evaluate in a few weeks) but went for short walk yesterday and felt very good. They are very well made, do not slip and give great support. I found the sizing perfect. I am very hopeful. I need the pair because the right knee is starting to niggle now (the strain of the other knee I guess). Off to the tombs of Egypt once again in 3 weeks and need the help these will give. I note that most people go for the black ones, I am a man and went for the more daring orange and black (shorts in Egypt) - go for it! Good wishes with your ailments.

Comfortable in use, not sweaty, remain in place.
In the past I've only used neoprene knee supports, which I've found hot, sweaty and constantly slipping. The Mava have remained in place in use, 4 times, twice 10hr day at work on shop floor (14000 steps each) twice 8km trail running. I ordered size XL as my thighs measured 18", altough this is at the top end of the sizing (16.75"-18.5"), they are comfortable in use.I do though feel that the shape of the support could do with narrowing around the knee joint, there is pressure to reduce swelling in use, a little more pressure would help with support to the knee. The Mava measure, out of the packet for XL, 11.5" long, top(thigh) 13.5" circumference, bottom (calf) 11.5" circumference, at the knee 12.5" circumference. My legs equal, thigh 18", calf 15", knee 15.75".I've already recommended them to friends.

They are snug so feel like they hold everything in place and I have little ...
As with most people who wear these, I've had problems with my knees for a while, which is a bit of a pain (pun intended) when I teach PE, play netball and go to the gym 5 times a week! I spent most of the time trying to deal with pain, either pushing through and taking pain relief after or limiting what I can do. These knee sleeves have made a huge difference and I'm not sure how!I wear them when I head to the gym and when I play netball and they increase my range of movement and how hard I can push myself. I keep them on for about 30 minutes after I've finished my session to help aid recovery too. They are snug so feel like they hold everything in place and I have little issue with them slipping down my leg due to the silicon grip at the top. I've recommended them to most of my netball club (too many with knee issues) and other netballers have asked about them. I cannot recommend these enough!
