This is a handsome birdhouse! It arrived as scheduled and without damage. The company does provide extra shingles in case there are some missing. I personally stained the shingles, hand painted the chimney and porch. I applied several coats of marine sealant for added protection. After curing, I attached it to a pedestal where it sits waiting to be used by an avian family next spring. Overall an excellent product.

This is a very well made and detailed bird house. The color and style is reminiscent of a summer cottage by the lake. Any bird would feel very lucky to live in this little house.

5/23/23 :The seller was very kind and gave me a second bird house after the first one decomposed. I just had to pay shipping. They suggested Marine varnish. I gave it three thorough coats and we had en extremely mild winter (CT), but it still completely deteriorated. Cheap Chinese Crap!!5/17/24: The Replacement Bird House: I took the advise of the seller and spray coated every nook and cranny of this birdhouse with a quality Minwax Helmsman Spar Urethane; three separate coates. Now, just one, very mild winter later. It is completely falling apart!!! Again Chineese Crapp!! (misspellings intentional to trick the AI police).

REALLY pretty - will be a christmas gift for my inlaws who live on 30 acres down south!when it came out of the very-well-protecting box one of the windows had it's trim fallen off but I simply hot glued it back on. Other than that it's very pretty.I would use it indoors (although its big).Don't think it will last forever outside though -especially in colder climates - because it's hot glued together BUT it will look lovely down south in the summer.

Very sturdy and well-made. I just took it out of the box and I’m going to purchase the marine polyurethane as the seller suggested to keep the paint from fading. This should also Help resist the water and outside elements. Only concern that I can see is the hole for the birds to go in it’s not quite 1 1/4 inches and the square but having said that I’ve never had a birdhouse with a square opening before so it may be fine.

Very pretty. Obviously not designed for outdoor use, only home décor. A bit pricey for something "handcrafted in China".

I enjoy the birds I have that come to our fountain daily. Also, I feed the finches by my backyard fence. That is where I will set up this adorable birdhouse. It is well made. The cleaning door is in the back, so this allows me to secure it to a base for the pole. I watch the birds outside from my kitchen table when I have breakfast.

After one winter and putting a coat of clear sealer on it, this is what I got not worth the money, it looked nice when I got it but know even the birds won’t go in it.

Great looking birdhouse! Our birds in the back yard will love it :)Small negative that the bottom did not come off for cleaning.
