Skullcandy G.I. Mic'd (2011) Habitat Rasta

These headphones are excellent especially if you want a good pair that isn't too cheap or too expensive. I enjoy the fact the can cancel out all other sounds but the music. And for the price you cant beat it.

The colors are darker. R speaker louder than L. Sound is too dry. Plastic has become sticky. Not compatible with SE Xperia Play.

Bought for son less than six months ago, already the plastic head band adjuster broke, wires cracking and exposing. Had my doubts about this product, but my son insisted he wanted it. Bought a similar skullcandy product from a local store, looks authentic, still working great. Does Amazon check for fake products they allow these vendors to sell?

I've had this brand before. I had the 2011 Hesh rasta headphones. They were the best headphones I've ever had. I even compared them in store to Beats headphones, and the Rasta ones I had were almost exactly the same in clarity and bass. Sad day when they were stolen from me.I tried to replace them with these.These are heavy. I can't comfortably wear them around my neck because they almost want to choke me. The top of them are heavy when actually listening. The button on the chord is sometimes a bit tricky to press in on mine.They sound ok. I was pretty happy with them at first, until I compared them to Urbanears headphones. Urbanears had a whole lot more bass, but they weren't as balanced in sound. The bass on these is lacking but the at least everything is balanced and clear, with absolutely no distortion when cranked up loud. You can HEAR the bass, I want to FEEL the bass a little bit more.I love the bottle opener in the zipper. I also get complements on my headphones almost everytime I walk around with them on.Overall, I'd rank them an 7.5-8 out of 10:The weight of them make me not use them as much as I would if they were lighter.The bass could be a lot strongerMy button takes a lot of effort to pushThey are VERY VERY CLEAR though.

Otherwise they work very well. Didn't want to pay a whole lot and my son says the sound quality is good.

I bought this because Skullcandy makes a descent product for the right price. It has the gamer option with a mic so my buddys son loves, the sound is descent and it fits his little head lol... Good product!

Broke too quickly and I threw them away.

These are stylish earphones and provide a decent quality sound. They're just uncomfortable after a while. I don't consider myself to have a large head, so I'm not sure why so many earphones are uncomfortable on me. I was donated a pair of Bose and I can tell you the difference in comfort is unbelievable. I love how these look, so I'd give 3.5 stars if I could. I wish they felt better on my head.
