The cutting edges have been heat treated to ensure the longest life.  Can be used also on rabbits, ferrets, lab animals, etc. Directions: Hold paw firmly with one hand and trim with other. Cut in one smooth stroke. If the nails are long, trim off a small amount and repeat every 10 days until you reach the desired length.  Avoid cutting into the pink area or quick at the base of the nail.
