CANT LIVE WITHOUT THESE WRAPS!
I’m on my sixth set of these knee wraps. I’ve got a torn meniscus in right knee, and have strained the ACL twice in my left knee. I’ve tried several brands/types of knee wraps which all worked OK but these provide next-level quality and support. Because of these specific McDavid knee wraps, I can hike for miles without pain, I play full court basketball weekly without pain, ski a few times every Winter and occasionally run 5K trail races. Without the wraps, I get splintering pain down my shins and can’t do most of those activities. These are INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend them.

Lightweight support
lightweight support and very breathable, keep my knee warm and reduces pain from exercising, not as much support as the neoprene ones. pros +lightweight +breathable +can wear for longer periods +no allergic reaction (at least for me, neoprene make my skin break out after wearing for couple hours) +Economic price +fast shipping cons -light support -may not be enough support -tends to roll down during vigorous exercise I prefer this type of over the neoprene models as for supporting my knees during light exercise, after several years of rehab and wearing heavy sleeves with tape and straps and plastic inserts I can now get by on using this lighter model. Would buy again.

It's still working for my aging knees
This is the third or fourth time I've ordered this. It works fine and is not uncomfortable. I wear it to the gym every day.

As usual, Amazon purchasers don't know what they are doing.
Step 1. Measure your knee. Step 2. Buy appropriate size Step 3. Wear brace. This is a $10 brace, don't expect it to be the most supportive. It's basically the lightest amount of support you can get, similar to using a light Ace wrap without having to deal with the wrap. I have a 14.5" knee as measured where they tell you to on their site. The medium fit well and stayed in place walking 36 holes of golf after I tweaked an old knee injury. Just enough support to provide warmth and stability to a minor injury. Sure there is some readjusting of the brace, but if you get the proper size it works well. Size chart from their site: S= 12-14" M= 14-15" L= 15-17" XL= 17-20"

Not much support
I was looking for a little added knee support for jogging. I previously used Futuro comfort lift knee supports and they provided the support I was looking for but only are available in flesh color. As I wanted black I ordered the McDavid Elastic support. While the product is OK, the support provided is less than the Futuro. A smaller size wouldn't work as my knee size is at the top of the range for medium.

Good product
These help a lot if I put them on the minute my knee starts to hurt.

A little help here......Thanks..
Have used McDavid braces, Mueller braces, cheap knee braces. First the cheap ones, finally got smart and tossed them all, they put a nice "welt type" ring on your skin. I have found the McDavid 501 knee sleeve to be perfect support for my arthritic knees and very good stable support for night time rising...you don't want a weak knee. The older ones size seems to be about two inches above and below the knee. This version is larger and I think better. The nylon, rubber, polyester combination is very comfortable. Have a pair available and when the knees are sore, give them some additional support and they'll get better, quicker. These braces are for level 1 type soreness. Your doctor might have his/ her ownrecommendations. But McDavids has worked very well for me for years. Note also my knees circumference comes in at 16.5 inches, I have always ordered X-Large in these (and ankle braces). So, going one size above is a good move.
