🔧 Flex, Lock, and Clean Like a Pro!
The WORKSHOP WS25020A Replacement Hose Attachment is a 7-foot, 2.5-inch diameter wet/dry vacuum hose featuring Dual-Flex™ technology for 180-degree flexibility at both ends. Its locking tab secures the hose firmly to most standard 2.5-inch inlet shop vacuums, preventing accidental disconnections. Designed to resist crimping and collapsing, it ensures maximum airflow and efficient debris collection, making it an essential upgrade for professional-grade cleaning performance.

Drop in replacement for rigid 2.5”
I have a rigid shop vac from 2008. Works great but hose collapsed over time. This was a drop in replacement. Matched perfectly. Even the connectors were perfect. 2.5” at the openings.

MEASURED Fitting DIMENSIONS
is anything quite so frustrating as a lack of actual dimensions? For instance, the manufacturer calls this a 2-1/2 inch hose, but there is NO PART of it that actually measures 2.50". Maybe that's an industry "nominal" size (like "two by four" or "half-inch pipe"), but it's useless when you're trying to figure out if it's compatible with your equipment. I hope the following information helps. The hose is corrugated, about 1.96" ID and 2.33" OD except at the ends, where it's made larger to match the barbed press-in adaptors. Four adaptors are included: Two identical plain adaptors, one of which is pre-installed into the hose, and two others with latches (one red, one black). The non-barbed end of the plain adaptor has a mating area 1.85" long, tapering from 2.28" to 2.26" OD. The ID is 2.09".The mating area of the black-latch adaptor is 1.33" long, tapering from 2.29" to 2.27" OD. The ID is 2.15".The mating area of the red-latch adaptor is 1.0" long with 2.63" OD molded rings and 2.29" ID.The good news for me is that the plain adaptor is a perfect fit in the suction port of my Fein Turbo II dust collector. There's no twist-lock feature as with the Fein OEM hose, but the friction fit is plenty secure. I installed the second plain adaptor on the other hose end, and it's a light friction fit in the outlet of my ancient Ryobi BT3000 table saw.I also noted that the black-latch adaptor fits my Ryobi P770 6-gallon portable vacuum, and it's actually far more secure than the OEM hose. However, having already pressed in the plain adaptor, I consider it to be non-removable because the barbs are such a tight fit in the hose. I'd guess I'd have to buy a second hose for this purpose.

Replaces unavailable sears hose 9-17818 for great old vac
I have a 35 yr old sears shop vac that really sucks (sears mod# 113.178200). The replacement hose (9-17818) is no longer made/available from sears. This hose fit perfectly and is a bit longer than original, so that's a plus. I used hot tap water & soap to assemble the free end fitting. I'm happy to get my old sears vac operational again. They just don't make vacs as good these days...

New life for Craftsman vac. - Missing piece, not stated inlet spec and slightly lower quality.
Virtually identical in function to my ancient friction fit Craftsman. Although missing one of the pictured adapters, fortunately the hose end with the clip friction fit perfectly to my old vac which required a 2.25" OD hose fitting and which had no provision to use the retainer clip. Thanks to another reviewer who measured the inlet and even posted a pic. of the smaller measurement giving me confidence to try it. Looks to be the same molding, length but slightly thinner material than original as is typically the case with what I suspect is a China factory-sourced copy. If you are lucky, maybe the careless omission of a part and unprecise size specification won't derail your specific repair.

Perfect fit for Rigid Wet/Dry Vac
I would not be surprised that this is the true supplier for Rigid Dry/Wet vacs that are sold in the box stores. I replaced my original eight year-old Rigid 7-foot hose with this one and everything's the same. My old hose had kinks in it that wouldn't come out and caused the hose to collapse on itself as well as the connectors starting to wear out since they're pretty basic plastic locking tabs. This hose is the same material, length, and quality and for the value it's a lot cheaper than buying a new shop vac or one of the more expensive hoses from the box store. I highly recommend it and it's working out great for me and all the fittings work with all my original attachments.
