Being the words of the product box are in a foreign language, all we have for the distinction of the actual product is the design of the box....The box with black letters with gold filler below them is …...the QUALITY product, having silver COATING with red letters on each suppository. I give 4 STARS to this product.The INFERIOR product comes in a box with the black lettering with only 'white space' beneath them... The inferior suppository has silver COATING with red letters …. PLUS bold BLACK LETTERS STAMPED EACH SUPPOSITORY. When I opened them they would be melted & re-hardened to weird suppository shape or PIN HOLES suppository …. I refused to use these.The 2 pictures I posted are of both boxes in each pic, so you can tell the difference.....Don’t let them tell you that it is new packaging...NO, it is NOT.... BOTH packagings have been on the market for years..... Remember, the inferior product has BIG BLACK LETTERS STAMPED ACROSS EACH SUPPOSITORY. OK, so they really, really stink. But, they are the BEST non-prescription out there for your poorTush! They smell Gawd-awful. The price is great. Use them 2 at a time if you must, BUT I have never, ever found a word of English. Maybe Cantonese? I used the instructions for Preparation H and crossed my fingers and legs. It works. I have no idea why. Maybe it’s in my DNA but, for me, they are better than prescription They look like little red sticks of clay. But if you are hurting Give them a try. Very Chinese Medicine

The suppository itself is tan, and while it does work well at pain relief, you should wear a maxi pad and put down a towel under your bottom, as you will have tan goop on the bed linens and your underwear if you don’t take precautions. I need to use a suppository in the morning after my shower and before I dress for work, so this does NOT work for that purpose at all.The camphor is strong, but it does help relieve pain.

My bum started feeling a bit odd after getting a colonoscopy. When I pass gas or poo I felt it would get stuck for a second before leaving me. Then I started using this product once a day before bed. After finishing a box, the "stuck" feeling was gone!

Mine are not bad and post colonoscopy my Dr told me surgery was not a real option.Bottom line is these things work to take care of business when I do have a flare up. When combined with a horse chestnut supplement they work even better.They are a little expensive but worth the price. They have a strong camphor smell to them FYI. Also, keep them in the freezer before use and they are much easier to handle and the cooling helps with the inflamdation as well.

No other medicine works as well as this to relieve the pain. My wife keeps them in the freezer.

Ma Ying Long is very good. I used the ointment and this. It worked so good. Release pain and help my hemorrhoids being healed.
