Apple iPhone XS, US Version, 256GB, Space Gray - Unlocked (Renewed)

From the seller, nothing but great things to say.. The phone came in better than expected condition (bought it refurbished). It has all the features of a brand new phone, and looks great. The battery was at a solid 90%+, and the storage capacity is incredible. The OLED screen and surround sound speakers are amazing, and it plays movies with seamless and movie theater quality. It stays connected permanently, and the wireless charging is very convenient. It has many unlocking options and safety features, a good screen size which is large enough without being too big, and is waterproof-rated well. The only gripe I have is with the phone battery - it seems to deplete rather quickly, but I do watch movies and play games on it, which tend to do that with any phone. Overall, it's a great phone, and I would highly recommend the model.

Phone came just as described. I went with the “Good” and still got a more than decent device. Had little small scratches but mainly on glass back from regular use and on screen but as soon as I put a screen protector, you couldn’t notice anything. Phone booted up right away also worked with out a Sim ( only need Wi-Fi). Picked up a slim silicone case and off and running. Definitely a good buy! Much Thanks (Black XS 256g)

) I love Apples features and quality of the phone itself. I’ve been trying to get my wife on board to switch to IOS but she refused until now. And she has more exciting things to say about it than me. Apple has a way of organizing your apps for you. And it processes really fast. The screen picks up on every touch quickly. :( It seems to take the curser a few touches to get in the right place when you’re trying to put it when fixing a typo and can become irritating. And if you are a long time android user it takes a minute to get used to navigating with the back button. The unlocking face feature works great! Even when not wearing makeup LOL The one thing I can’t stand is the fact that you can’t add gigs to your phones memory like Android! Such a bummer

What can you say? It’s an iPhone. For me, the XS (X and 11pro) are the best form factor. Slim, not too heavy, not too large, not too small, “just right!” The cameras are terrible compared to phones now. But I don’t take much pictures, so I don’t care about that. For those that don’t know, this phone is not 5G capable. It’s 4G LTE. And if you have T-Mobile, that means not the greatest reception (I can’t speak to other carriers). They are focusing heavily on 5G and Satellite more now and their 4G LTE bands are high frequency, which means they travel less distance and don’t go through walls well. Because this is an older model iPhone, case selection has gone downhill. To be expected. I was still able to find a decent case here on Amazon that has a magnetic ring, so I could use my MagSafe wireless charger. I don’t use this phone everyday, it’s more of s backup. I’m not rough on my phones, but my wife and kids are. So at least they will have something to use if needed, and 256GB storage is nice! I wish Apple would come back to this design and size, rather than going bigger and bigger!

DO NOT BUY ! I only saw good reviews before purchasing.. hopefully you see this review BEFORE that ... You are guaranteed issues if you buy this phone. Not only did I have almost every issue the bad reviews are saying but after I returned this phone , I waited over a week AFTER the phone was delivered back to even hear back & when I did they addressed me about a passcode in which i wrote down on a paper and included in the box on the phone although there was no possible way to remove the code as every time i reset the phone it did nothing but re power over and over again. They said they need the code before I can get a refund.. Obviously I sent it however my point is why did I wait over a week after delivery just for you all to not inspect the box? Remind you the phone was returned with a brand new case Lol I deserve some grace for that gift if anything, no? So this phone did not function properly at all. it did not unlock properly after set up.. it did not even set up properly to begin with i mean straight out of the box the phone kept turning off .. the battery wouldnt charge and when it did , it kept dying in MINUTES!. I returned this phone within a day of receiving it. 0/10 Would NOT recommend

I have to preface the review by saying that I was skeptical when making this purchase because of the mixed reviews. But I did my due diligence on different sellers selling renewed devices and chose Woot as the seller. I had good experience with Woot when I directly purchased from them in the past. Amazon Renewed Guarantee provide additional reassurance if something did not go well. (but there's always a catch.. more on that at the end). Product Delivery/Packaging: Very poor 1. The product was not eligible for prime for some reason. 2. The delivery took more than week but was delivered as committed. 3. The phone was packed in Bubble Envelope ...not an Iphone box or any box but just yellow bubble envelope. 4. The phone was wrapped in foam cover and then bubble wrap (see picture). Was really surprised the phone survived the transit. Kudos to UPS who handled this with such care Phone and Accessories: Average 1. Phone itself was wrapped up in plastic cover and looked almost good, with very lil signs of wear and tear 2. Battery was at 86% capacity which again was very disappointing and am not sure how it will hold up over time. I will update this review after using the phone for a few days 3. The accessories included were more of joke. Yes, technically there was a charger and a charging cable. I say technically since charger was not an OEM charger and the cable would not reach from outlet to the phone. It was barely 6 inches long. No thats not a typo but it was not even 6 inches. Just Phone: Good (This is not a review of an iPhone XS itself, but the renewed phone delivered) 1. As mentioned above the physical condition of the phone was good. There were very few signs of wear and tear 2. It was ATT Model A1920 (MT8X2LL/A), fully unlocked with both GSM/CDMA Support 3. I was able to register my apple id and update it to latest firmware. 4. FaceID works and that was reassuring 5. Screen Quality did not look as impressive as i would have thought from OLED. Need to compare it more. Will update the review. 6. However, the battery capacity was at 86% which was concerning since I am sure it will deplete to bare minimum or less than minimum pretty soon. I will update this review and return if things go south soon Amazon Renewed Guarantee: TBD 1. I was not aware that there could potentially be a restocking fee if a product is returned. I came across this information thanks to a response from an amazon customer in the Q& A section. 2. Though on chat I was reassured by Amazon rep that Amazon would honor or help honor the guarantee within the warranty period. 3. So I will update this if i even have to use amazon renewed guarantee. but still this is something to be aware of before making a renewed purchase. Overall, buying an expensive renewed phone can be a dicey affair. Wish there was much better or robust program around renewed phones.
