this product is very good so i had an ant infestation in my house where if you leave the slightest bit of food out, or had a jar or something slightly open, there would be ants all around it. they even ate the laundry for some reason. anyways i was originally using an ant spray which worked, but it only killed temporarily and then more would be coming back. i was looking for a more permanent solution when i came across this. i decided to give it a try because it costed pretty cheap, and it was definitely well worth it. i put one down where the laundry basket would usually be and right away, he ants started swarming it. some reviews may say that it worked in less than a day, but it was probably a placebo effect because in my experience, it took a little over 3 days for the results to start coming in, and it sure enough worked amazing:)). the ants numbers started declining, and the whole thing wasnt finished. sometimes the ants would get stuck in the thing, though. anyway it was pretty easy to dispose of because all i has to do was throw it away, and acually when i put it in the trash, more ants came after it so thats a plus i guess. after this i put a lot more around the house like in the pantry, near trash cans, or just anywhere i saw ants. for safety? honestly i dont even know, all i can tell you is that im not in the hospital, and its good as long as you dont drink it. there was more than enough fluid in the bottle, not to mentione theres 12 bait traps. overall this was an amazing product, works really well for its intended purpose, and is a really good value. definitely worth it

Terro is the best ant killer ever if you have an onslaught. Once they hit this, they return to their nests and you won't see them till next season. Tips - it will drip out onto the floor so put a piece of painters tape underneath that they can readily walk across to get to the bait. The one place I rented years ago had ants in multiple rooms. Instead of buying a trap for every room or window, again, i used painters tape. use a wide piece as the drip will spread, and put it onto the tape. make sure the tape is a longer and wider than the drop. Once it dries up or you no longer see ants, pull it up and disposes. Put down fresh tape if needed. I have a cat who has never bothered with it, so i wasn't worried about safety. . it you use the plastic dispenser, it will last for months. If you are worried about your animals, I made a little plastic house which had the sides with a little lip on each side taped on the floor (painters tape again), and then put the plastic dispenser inside so the ants could get the poison but your pets cannot access it. You want like a little tunnel so they can go in and through. Another tip - that place I rented also had a silverfish infestation that the landlord wouldn't address. I bought diatomaceous earth and a long bulb dispenser with a pin point nozzle. it's not toxic to animals, just insects who, when they get it on their feet or body, it dries them up. they carry it back to the next and they all start dying. I put on a face mask, and use the fine nozzle and applied it to the perimeter of each room, in the outlets and under the sink and in the bathroom. it works great - check it out on line and see for yourself. i bought a bag of the DM over 5 years ago, applied it all over that carriage house I rented (floors, cabinets, in the beams, windowsills, outlets, everywhere), and still have over 1/2 the bag today. Because those silverfish grossed me out so much, i use the DM here in my home 2x a year. I vacuum every carpet thoroughly, especially against every wall, then apply a thin bead into that little narrow gap between the carpet and wall. I do it early in the day just in case some dust is in the air and it's done. You don't smell it, unless you overdo the dust, i have never had it get stirred up, and cat doesn't care about it. Even humans eat this .
