Great Male Brazlian! (Against Manufacturer's Warning)
First, I am using this to do a self full Brazilian. Local laser hair removal clinics wanted $250 a session for men, compared to $85 a session for women. They all said about 10 session are needed, so I was looking to spend at least $2,500 on hair removal down "there." I figured a $400 investment for a self-Brazilian was worth the risk.Second, the manufacture and FDA clearly warn that this is NOT for Brazilians and should not be used on genitals or anuses. So if you do use it there, do so at your own risk and against their warnings/recommendations. Also, at least test the skin color in those areas using the tool's skin test window as most people are darker down there, and it could result in serious skin burns on dark skin. I'm milk-white, so I wasn't worried.Third, it only works on dark hair. I have dark brown hair, white skin, so this worked perfectly for me. However, I do have some grey hair down there, so this won't work on those. If you have blond hair, this won't work!Fourth, It is a sensitive area and dense hair so I am only able to use it on number 4 setting. It feels like a rubber band snapping against my skin. This is not pain free, but neither is going to hair removal clinic. (I went to one session there, and this device feels the same.)Fifth, you have to do this right after you shave. The heat of the laser goes down the hair to the follicle. If you have long hair, this just doesn't work. Also, if you wax first, then you are shooting blanks (and there is a limited number of laser zaps in this thing). If there is no hair for the heat to travel down to burn/kill the follicle, then you are wasting your time. Do not wax!Sixth, your hair is in different stages of growth all the time. You continually lose hair and grow hair. You don't lose all your hair at once and regrow new hair. With that said, this ONLY kills the hair follicle if it is in the GROWTH stage. So you have to do multiple treatments because you will only be killing a small percentage of your hair follicles on each treatment. Expect about 10 treatments to get everything. In 3 treatments with this (four including the 1st one I did at the hair clinic), I have 60% less hair growth. I love it. It is saving me a ton of money.Only con is it treats a very small surface area. I have to pay attention and move across all the skin area in a grid pattern, moving about 1/4" at a time between zaps. It takes about 20 minutes for me to do my the entire Brazilian area, front and back.

So far, so good
I have had this thing for less than 6 hours so this is NOT a progress review yet! However, I thought I would comment on the pain. Let me start first by saying my pain tolerance is about average at first, until adrenaline starts to kick in. My hair is thick, dark, and very coarse so more times than not, it comes back ingrown if i wax or pluck. I have gotten 3 sessions of professional laser hair removal on my chest by LaserAway with their "rubber-band" laser and 3 sessions of laser hair removal on my stomach with a different laser at a local clinic, more of a continuous beam that they roll across the skin which produces warmth and (if the hair is thick) you can feel the pain in the roots as it rolls over but it is mild. I have also gotten 6 hours of electrolysis on my cheeks, neck and chin. Okay! There is my history. Basically, I have tried many things and am still doing them but its expensive so I opted to buy this little device for the tops of my thighs (where I shave but they ALL grow back ingrown and irritated). I have only tried this on my arms so far because I wanted to see how the pain is. I have only doing my left arm and will write an updated review in 2 weeks to see the difference between my left and right arms. Level 3 and level 5 feels absolutely no different, the laser for level 5 just lasts longer thus lengthening the pain but it does not hurt MORE persey imo. Charging time is quick. So far I have no complaints.UPDATE: I have done about 2 sessions with this thing on my cheeks, neck and sideburn area. I AM A BELIEVER. Dont bother with professional laser or IPL! This thing gives the BEST results I have seen from any professional laser place. However, I highly recommend using a lidocaine numbing cream if you are using level 5 for a prolonged period of time. I used level 5 on my neck and face and I even got a blister (which subsided the next day but still). The hairs will start to fall out about a week after you zap them. So far I can say about 60-70% (probably more!) of all my targeted hairs have NOT grown back after a month. I could not recommend this thing anymore, yes it hurts but its worth it. You are saving thousands of dollars on professional treatment and in the comfort of your own home. I love this thing!Update: I've had this laser for almost a year now. I stopped layering for about 6 months to see if the growth was substantial after not using it for a while. Happy to report that, the hair stayed thin! I've started back up again, doing spot treatments. Although it doesn't exactly get rid of some of my hairs, it has effectively taken the pigment out of the hair, so they come back blonde (which unfortunately only electrolysis can get rid of). This is a huge relief to me though because I could grow back shadow before. Now I can go 3-4 days without shaving my face and still have the hairs be unnoticeable. Also, the more you use it, the less it hurts. The pigment of the hair will lighten and the pain won't be as bad. Before.. I had to use numbing cream and a painkiller, wait 30 minutes before lasering and it was a huge deal that took a lot of time. Now ever 2-4 weeks I'll just bust the thing out, spot treat a couple areas, takes like 10 minutes. Pain is minimal now, slight sting even though I'm using level 5. I don't need numbing cream or painkillers anymore

Not great performance
I bought it more than two years ago. It was a huge investment for me but it has not worked as advertised. I didn’t use it continuously in the beginning but now for almost six months I have tried it. But the results are nowhere near good. You see some effect but not as much as promised. The battery life is also very bad, in half hour the full charging is lost so you need to make breaks between long sessions which is very irritating. Also the head is very small so it takes a huge amount of time for larger areas.I am going to buy an IPL device and will see if the results improve or change.

Even if that's the best result I'm going to get
I have not used it long enough to say it removed hair permanently, but I can for sure say I used to have to shave every 3 days, and now after only a few weeks of use, I only have to shave once a week and there is less hair than when I shaved every 3 days. Even if that's the best result I'm going to get, I'm totally satisfied and have told all my friends about it. Way cheaper and more convenient than getting it done at the spa.

Low battery life
It does what it is intended to perfectly, I was happy with the results. Unfortunately, the battery has died very quickly and Tria European support simply ignored all my requests,
