Great little set for crafting. I've used a few of the tools already. A couple of the pliers were used to open pretty decent size metal chain links and did the job no problem. The snippers work great as well, and all are easy to hold/grip.

Don't take seriously the complaints of people who were expecting to get a set of professional level tools for $23. The description also says clearly that these are mini-tools. Don't expect full size pliers. I was looking for a set of pliers to work in small places. That's just what I got. They aren't precision tools for working with tiny electronic components, but the tolerances are close enough for small mechanical work. They don't appear durable enough for daily use, but that wasn't what I was looking for either. I just needed tools for occasional work on small parts in small places. I see that some people complained that their tools were dirty or appeared used. I didn't have that problem. Overall I have no complaints.

While great care has been taken to include a number of pieces to cater for a varied and wide range of uses—a fact I truly appreciated and weighed heavily in my decision to make the purchase, the tools themselves are constructed out of inferior metals. Upon my first use, applying considerable and steady but not excessive force to cut a small gauge wire with the cutting tool—something most cutters I've owned have had no issues with—one of the cutting prongs cracked and buckled under the strain. The metal, it seems, is not sufficiently strong or tempered enough to hold up to real-world use. The carry/storage case included however is nice and stores the tools snugly and neatly. This unfortunately cannot make up for or detract from the fact the tools themselves are weak and ultimately not up to the task. Purchase these only for the lightest of tasks.

It's designed for use for those jobs that require fine and prices tips or reaching into narrow spaces - everything from electrical repairs, instrument adjustments, jewelry modifications, auto related fixings and diy projects is what we'll be using them for as they are replacement for a long in the tooth set. The five different pliers cover a good range and should tackle any circumstance with its variety: long nose, long needle nose, diagonal, end cutting and bent nose. Unless I happen to catch some kind of clearance, the same thing at our local stores is nearly double. The handle is nicely and well covered on the entirety of the handle with a comfortable anti slip rubber wrap/coating. It feels secure and looks to feel like it won't be going anywhere. The pliers themselves have a nice weight and solid feel to it (as they should as they are made of steel) and precise looking tips. It even comes with a much nicer than expected carrying case and a set of gloves. A tool for every situation!

For the price these are good (discounted) - small pliers look like the one made by Craftsman I bought years ago and still use. Great for electronics use and probably jewelry.
