TMC Iron Black Front Double Door Handleset (KEYED HANDLESET)

I assume this is Chinese made, because of the price. We had a metal door that was ugly on our barn. We built some nice cedar barn doors, and decided to screw some think cedar pickets on our metal double door on the right. I picked this design because it was a simple rectangle. the rectangle part was 5/8" thick - the same as the cedar pickets, so I was able to install the door handle in about 10 minutes and then measure and cut out cedar board to simply go around this handle. Sorry .. the tree is right in front of the door on the right on the photo. but you get the idea hopefully. The handle is nice and sturdy (so far ). and was easy to install... but I have installed 25 or more handles before, so I didn't need to look at the directions. I doubt they were that good if they came from china.

I purchased 2 identical front door handle sets during the construction phase of my home. One worked great the other had an issue with the piece that helps the door latch and stay closed. It would not fully extend out making it impossible for the door to stay closed without the deadbolt being latched. We tried removing and readjusting along with greasing and nothing would make it fully extend out as designed.I contacted the seller to let them know about my issue for a parts replacement (let me add - I did this late at night during the Christmas holiday at that). The next morning I had a returned email from the seller and the next business day a replacement was in the mail to me. I can't thank them enough for making it right and the timeliness of their response.The door handles look great and work perfectly. I think it was just a fluke issue with that one piece (it happens). I will definitely buy more items from this seller. It is obvious they are in the business to deliver quality products AND exceptional customer service.

The look and feel is a COMPLETE shock for the price. It’s heavy, sturdy, and beautiful to say the least. The ease of install was, again, shockingly simple. We had to order a replacement (thankfully for free) because a screw broke when securing the lock in place. We looked at Lowe’s and Home Depot at all the much known bigger brands lock-sets, but none of them have the class that this one holds.

Replaced a 30 year old handle. Well engineered and came with detailed instructions. Able to make it fit well even though it was not the exact size because the design supplied different sized lock barrels which were inherently slightly adaptable.

Installed this in my new hurricane front door. It was super easy to install if you are handy. So far working very well. I didn't realize that it included 2 cylinders which is a nice touch in case you have a second door. I replaced the cylinder because the included one was not great. Very simple replacement to upgrade your security. I'll update this post if I have issues.

We received it and it was clear that it had been opened and damaged. They replaced it RIGHT away. The second one arrived and we hired someone to install it (and a brand new door). ALL the screws were missing so he had to use his (not a huge deal) but the plug in the back (that coves the drill hole in the door) was not there ANDNON OF THE KEYS WORK ..... NON..We called Amazon twice and tried to contact the manufacturer and NOTHING.I am completely stuck here... We cant take it off and send it back and we cant unlock it from the other side. So the only thing I can do is buy ANOTHER one and then hire the guy to replace it again. and send back the bad one.I understand things happen (so I didn't get to upset about the first one) but this is just a very bad way of doing business.The lock itself is ok, nothing great. not as solid as others but it will work (hopefully)

Glad I went with this handle. I was planning on buying an identical Baldwin set for over twice the cost but figured it was worth a shot since the price was so fair. I could not be happier as the handle seems very well built and looks great. I definitely recommend it!
