Gift recipient is 5’9” 190lbs and muscular. I ordered the large men’s had room to move . He found it comfortable and true to size. He wears a medium shirt and found this comfortable. Zipper was nice and sturdy as is the material. Good Quality. Would recommend would gift . Great quality, looks expensive. Great for traveling easy to pack.

This is a surprisingly versatile jacket. I use this jacket in winter as an outer shell during the week. It blocks the wind completely, and keeps my body heat from escaping. With a base layer and a fleece jacket, this rain jacket provides sufficient warmth for temperatures down to about -5 Celsius. On colder days, I use a heavier wool base layer and feel warm down to -10 Celsius. I should mention that the hood is essential for warmth, as it blocks the wind from your head and prevents cold air from hitting your neck (it zips up quite high--up to my lower lip). When the temperature drops to -15 Celsius, I use a mid-layer jacket under this jacket and feel warm, though it is a tad bulky.During late fall, or early spring, this jacket provides sufficient warmth with a long sleeved shirt.Having said that, I cannot wear this jacket in summer during heavy rains for the exact reason that I become much too warm. But from late September to mid-May this my workday jacket and it has so far kept me warm and comfortable for the past 2 years.As an added bonus, it looks good and fits great. The hood zips up high to protect you, and with a neck warmer/scarf you will feel quite warm.For colder weather, you could wear a down jacket mid-layer, but for very cold weather (-30 Celsius) you should, of course,

I needed a new light, waterproof rain jacket but I didn't want to spend more than $100. This Helly Hansen will do the job well. I'm 6'1" and around 180 pounds and this fits good. Not too loose or tight. Good zipper and Velcro flap on the front. Solid hood and deep pockets. And nice mesh material in the inside to wick moisture. And the material is breathable. I'm happy.

Love the extra pockets, glad to have bought this. As a sailor for 30 plus years I needed something that will last as well. HH is a very trusted brand.

I first became aware of the Hansen line of raincoats at Epcot years ago. I've always loved the quality of the product and how well the cuts fit, but could never get past the price tags on the stuff in the park.Fast forward to the present. I find myself in need of a new raincoat to replace the one I've had for almost 12 years. I decided to look up HH on Amazon. The prices were surprisingly reasonable so I grabbed one. I could not be more disappointed in myself for waiting so long! This thing would have been worth the Disney park price to have had all those years ago.This is one of those products who's quality more than makes up for the price tag. If you're on the fence, take that leap towards grabbing one!

My husband walks our dogs in all weathers and begged me to find him good, easy to use rainwear that didn't make him look like a duck. I got him this jacket, and the pants from the same manufacturer. He is thrilled...and dry!
