I was skeptical about these at first since I had seen so many bad reviews about vacuum seal bags in general. I went with these ones because they seemed to have the best reviews and be the most durable, and I think there is also a lifetime warranty.So far, I am really loving these storage bags. I don't have a lot of space in my home, but after using these bags I opened up a few large shelves.When they say that these bags save you a ton of space, they really do--for the most part. If you use them on things like pillows or comforters, they make a HUGE difference. I put a couple large pillows in one of the large bags, and they are now maybe about half an inch thick. However, with materials that are already pretty dense, the difference is less dramatic. It still does save space. Just much less, since there is not much air to take out of it.I found that when I used a vacuum, it did not get all of the air out. The thing that did actually seem to get all of the air out was the travel pump, impressively. I found that since the hand pump took a while for larger bags, the best way to do it was to use a vacuum to get the majority of air out and then use the travel pump to get the last remnants out.As far as bags reinflating, I have not had too much trouble. The first bag I used somehow got a small tear, I'm not sure how. I put some packaging tape on it though and it did seal after that. Otherwise, they stay sealed as long as you follow the instructions. I filled one bag past the point where it said to stop, and that bag did refill with air shortly after. After 3 weeks, so far so good.I used the small bags a couple weeks ago on my carry-on when I traveled out-of-state.I was pretty happy with the amount of space that I saved. I fit about 6 shirts, two dresses dress, two pairs of shorts, a couple pairs of jeans, socks and undergarments for 7 days into two small sized bags. Since the bags get pretty hard once sealed, I did my best to fit my other things into the edges of the suitcase. On the way back I didn't want to use my snow boots through the airport and managed to pack those in as well (it would not have fit the exact measurement for carry-ons with the boots included, but the airport didn't seem to care).On the way back, I used the travel pump and it did not take me long to get the clothes sealed again. One thing to take not of though is that when I unpacked, all of my clothes were wrinkled. I tried to dewrinkle them by hanging them next to the shower, but if you have enough space packing a steamer would probably be helpful.Overall, they work pretty great and I am very glad that I invested in them.

Great idea, and we looked at a few different offerings, real time. Found this package will work with our needs of traveling with vacuum sealed smaller bags, while the larger bags ware nice for reducing the space taken with blankets, bedspreads, etc., in our storage closet. Quality is good; used a different portable AC powered small handheld vacuum device.

This product was easy to use; and worked as advertised. I used the medium bag for a queen quilted mattress pad. I used a large bag for a queen comforter and shams. I could have made them flatter, but I was happy as is.

I was kind of skeptical on and off brand, but to be honest, they actually did work just as well as the offbrand. I have both off and husky brand and they both seem to work just the same. As you can see in the picture I have both and you can’t tell the difference. And it’s been roughly a month and they’re still up there and nothing‘s changed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have space saver brand bags that are between 2-5 years old that still work perfectly. The Ziploc option does not hold a candle to the original space saver bag. I just ordered a new set and was surprised that they feel extremely cheap, thin, and flimsy compared to the older bags I have that are still working perfectly. Even the sliding piece that is used to make the snap/zip seal airtight is now a flimsy piece of plastic without the grooves that align with the seal. A couple of the bags in my recent order arrived with gashes/ holes that appear to be due to folds/creases and pressure, not some external mechanism. I will update on the quality of the vacuum seal with this thin plastic—another review reported that the thickness has been reduced from 0.9 mm to 0.4 mm. That is a significant change in quality from my assessment. I wonder if there is a counterfeit version that Amazon is shipping by mistake? I believe the fail point is around the vacuum seal port and the thinnness of the plastic bag around that circle. It does not appear to be strong enough to hold up to long term storage.

Super easy to use. The electric air pump works quickly and removes the air. Love the extra space.
