Q: Are they made in in USA

On the box it states “Made in China“. But these are very good blades and relatively thick. Even when using them as flat head screwdriver torque twisting they will not break easy.

Dear, We are really sorry that we don't recommend you refill this dispenser with replacement blades. Cuz that's really unsafe. (If just one blade or two, you can insert the blades back into the dispenser one by one, But be sure to be safe. )

Q: Assuming this is sk5 steel made in japan by jis with the new official name being changed to sk85(basically aisi w108)? not true tool steel sk5 / t8?

Dear, Tool steel has two types: carbon tool steels and alloy tool steels. Sk5 and T8 are the same type of steel, just called by different names. They belong to carbon tool steels. Pls rest assured that these blades are made entirely from standard materials and workmanship and are durable
