Long Lasting Wall of Light in a Can
This light feels solid, but not too heavy. If you are used to plastic lights from Walmart, you won't believe what a real light can do.Pros:Long lasting batteries will keep this going for hours, i have yet to run out of powerYou can turn this on and point to the ceiling and light up the entire room or point it outside and light up your entire yard. The LED used has a nice color so it looks like daylight rather than washed out LEDs in comsumer lights or too dim incandescent lightsCons (For some):This light has firmware installed that can do A LOT if you want to learn, but might be considered daunting. If you ignore most of the options, you'll do just fine and will be able to use this light with NO problem. For this price, you won't find better.

Wow! It is a powerful flashlight
Powerful flashlight with long battery life. The functionality is impressive, but the "user interface" is not intuitive. You have to put some work in to learning how to use it if you want the "advanced features."

King of mini soda can lights
This light is flashaholics dream come true. And, for the price, I don't believe it can be topped. The construction, features and performance of this handsome beauty only makes me wish I bought one sooner. The neutral tint and throw pattern of the light is superb. Floody, yet excellent distance as well. Easy to find electronic illuminated side switch. The Anduril UI (user interface) is easy to master right away, choose ramping or stepped modes to change the outputs. Your choice! Also, Anduril programming offers interesting options to truly customize the SP36 to suit your needs. Includes cool strobe and blinky modes, like lightening storm and candle simulator that make it more fun than an ordinary light. Easy to understand, the complete user's manual made it a snap to be up to speed with it in a few minutes. The run time with the 3 included batteries is long, and it never gets too hot like some other more expensive and big name offerings. With built in USB type C charger and included charge cord, I don't have to mess around extracting the batteries to charge up or top off. In my opinion, out of all the lights in my collection, my Sofirn's are the best bang for the buck, and offer a top shelf experience. I have 5 now, and have my eye on some more. This BLF SP36 is a real masterpiece, I don't imagine ever getting rid of it. When I tested it at night outside, I was stunned by the sheer output on high, and turbo was noticeably brighter still! Yet moonlight mode is really low, just how I like it. With its LowVoltageProtection, and AdvancedTemperatureRegulation features, I don't have to worry about overextending or damaging the light, no matter what output I choose to run, for any length of time. The smooth quad reflector holding 4 Samsung (high color rendering) LH351D led's behind its AntiReflective coated mineral glass lens is a work of art to see. The knurling and anodized body feel great to hold. There is no holster included, but I found that my pouch for (2) AR15 mags (airsoft) with velcro flap is perfect to hold it securely. Its IPX7 rated so no worries about using it in the rain. 2 meter drop rated as well. Can you tell, I like this light! If you are on the fence, or just looking for a light that would last you all weekend camping on one set of batteries, and can see all the way across the field, yet go down low enough for in your tent, get this Sofirn BLF SP36, with the Anduril UI. You can thank me later. Thanks, Zoe, of Sofirn for suggesting it to me, and Amazon for fast delivery! Sofirn has sales and coupon specials frequently too, so check their website. It is well worth it though, even at the regular price. I have a lot of other "high performance " big name lights, but I've found this and my other Sofirn lights to be kick a**.

Update - Exchanged for correct version
Update: Was able to exchange for the correct model. Again, check to make sure you do not receive an old version - the manual should state Anduril 2. If you get a green switch, it is the old version.Thoughts on the 2nd unit: Anduril 2 is excellent, as are the LH351D emitters. Calibrating the temperature sensor is a good idea to get the most out of the light. Anduril 2 defaults to a "Simple" UI that is perfectly useable, but has the option to unlock a ton of features in the full UI if you want them. One thing you'll notice with other lights that use a ramping interface is they tend to ramp too quickly at low output, and then too slowly at high output, due to the way our eyes perceive brightness. But a lot of work has been put into getting Andurl's ramping speed *just* right.C-to-C charging works. I definitely prefer the ergonomics compared to a 4-cell light like the Sofirn Q8.However, two issues stand out to me. 1) The slot for the charging port is too narrow, and my Anker and Samsung charging cords will not fit. 2) The machining on the cooling fins is a little rough, and is particularly noticeable when unscrewing the head. Really needed another deburring pass before anodizingOriginal review was as follows:Despite this listing advertising the updated 2 version of the SP36, I received the old Anduril 1 model. This is a deal-breaker, as I purchased the light from this listing specifically for the ability to charge with C-to-C cables. This listing clearly advertises Anduril 2, and the new switch color. The updated model is supposed to have a blue switch, and support C-to-C charging, along with the ability to charge your phone from a C-to-C cable. The light I received has the old green switch, does not charge with C-to-C cables, and does not have powerbank functionality.

Anduril 2.0 is awesome
This is the absolute best value for money torch for LED enthusiasts, all the anduril interface modes are fun to play with, and the wide light spread turns anywhere into almost day time. Love it

Very bright torch!
I was looking for a very bright torch for use on my property at night (obviously!). I am VERY pleased with this one - it's indeed incredibly bright, with an easily adjustable brightness. This one has lots of useful functions, including a digital lock to prevent it being switched on accidentally. There appeared to be lots of cheaper ones available but often their reviews were not promising.I have given 'value for money' 4 stars for now purely because I have only had it a week and would like to know how long the batteries last for on charge/discharge before needing replacement. Otherwise it gets 5 stars for performance. One drawback - the 'charging' light does not switch off when it is fully charged, HOWEVER you can get the torch to tell you what voltage it is holding!I would like a 'focusable' beam to make a spot light vs flood light, but this torch is so damn bright it wouldn't matter. A focussed beam would illuminate things a kilometre away and I can't see that far!

Compact powerful flood light
Powerful floodlight for short bursts. It gets hot very quickly at full power. Good build quality. Rubber charging port cover is annoying. Great value.

Very bright
I have a number of ultra bright torches, however the batteries have to be charged externally. I bought these as they can charge the 18650 lithium batteries internally via a USB C port. They work a lot better than expected. They are bright on the highest setting, but I'm very impressed with the gradual brightness adjustment as my other torches only have a limited number of stepped brightness levels. This has both gradual and stepped as well as a few other modes which I don't use.Overall, I'm very impressed as these are small and compact as well as bright, and the internal charging capability makes it my favourite out of all of my torches.
