The difference is that it is constructed out of a single piece of titanium, rather than the belt clip part and the part you clip your key rings to being 2 attached pieces. I saw numerous reviews reviews of the other version mentioning that the connection between the 2 pieces came apart on them over time, and that won’t be an issue with this version.As expected of titanium, it’s very light but feels very solid. I have no doubts about the clip and the included key ring being able to hold up to the daily abuse they’ll take over years to come. The ring clip springs back easily, and quickly returns to position, I don’t think there’s really any chance of anything accidentally detaching from this.The belt clip side is very strong and a little hard to slide over thicker belts, but grabs even thin elastic waistbands tightly enough to feel secure. I was worried that my thick leather work belt might end up being too wide or thick for the clip, but it is pretty much the perfect fit - maybe a little too snug, so theres a slight struggle to get it on, but that just keeps it in place even better once it’s on.That leads to the one downside, and that’s that it, even though the surfaces are smooth enough, the tightness of belt clip part will scuff your leather belts when you slide it on and off, especially thicker ones. Most of the rubbing/wear seems to happen on the back of the belt thankfully (not so thankfully if your belt is reversible), but in the foreground of one of my pictures you can see how much scuffing the front of the belt got from being slid on and off just once. Quality leather should be able to withstand the wear, but will take effort to maintain cosmetically. I’ve started to just leave it attached to my belt, to avoid unnecessary wear on the leather (I had to start wearing it on the left side, before my first belt loop, because of this, but not a big deal). Maybe some sort of felt-like lining on the inside of the belt clip could prevent scuffing?Overall, great little thing for the price, and it’s nice not having to carry bulky keys/fobs around in pockets!

This is my third one with in 6 years. Mind you I am rough on these things. I always seem to be getting caught on something. Very simple and well made product.

Lasted pretty much exactly 2 years. Worked great until tonight. I was sitting in a plastic break room chair at work. Keys got stuck under the chair without me knowing. When I stood up, the top of the clip snapped.The clip has great tension and fit all my belts. The only thing I didn't like about it is the belt loop clip. The opening being on the bottom is so much different from a carabiner that I never wanted to use it. It also doesn't open too wide which made its use even more limited.I think next time I wouldn't bother getting one with the belot loop clip and just get it for clipping onto my belt.

It is small and clips to me belt tightly. Not worried about it falling off. Great product.

I was not sure I would be happy with this purchase, but I am super pleased! The clip is sleek and sturdy. I appreciate that it's light weight and not bulky. I wear this on my leather duty belt and it fits securely. I was concerned it would be struggle to clip onto a thicker belt, but I had no issues.

The product itself is strong, lightweight, and functionally sound. The keyring it comes with is really nice too, probably one of the best keyrings I've ever had.Had an issue with it a year later and customer service solved it instantly. Would 100% buy from them again

Its really sturdy, functional, has a ring to add things for permanent use such as home keys, car keys and such, and it has the hook that is specific for adding and removing additional items in case you work at a place that requires you to carry a set of keys, or an extra key chain. The hook area is nice to operate, meaning its very easy to add or remove a key from the hook with a simple push.

Update: I need to revise my rating from 5 to 3 stars. After only a week, I have found issues. First, did not see it happen, but after driving my car found the ring had came off in my seat. That's really not good. Second, on a couple different occasions I have found my shirt wedged in the lock. Knowing that my shirt can get stuck in there, I imagine a scenario in which that enabled the ring to also come off. Maybe it's just the position which I wear it (about 2 o'clock, above my right pocket). Regardless, it should not do this. Although I had a very good initial impression, apparently something about the design is not secure. Unfortunate!--------Original---------A bit on the expensive side, maybe not a great value, but it's unique and works very well. Nice looking matte finish, quality feel. Holds keys as intended, so surprise there. Easy-on but also stays put on 2 different belts, I do not fear it will come off. As long as it doesn't break (no reason to think it will) it will be worth the cost to me. Came in a decent tin with a matching ring (about 32mm OD), so I would say it's giftable.

Was excited for this item ! Recently have changed my setup as this wasn’t practical for me anymore . I have too many keys and other gear on my key chain and this was not the right fit for that . If you only have the one key ring on it , it’s a great fit but if you want to add more it’s not ideal in my opinion .

I am a woman and when I go to work I need take many keys along with me. I don’t like wear all keys like necklaces which is not convenient. So this is really good for me. It’s so delicate and it’s easy to take the key out and put it on. Love it.
