These cymbal clamps/screws make life so much easier they are very durable yet light weight and they function exactly like they're needed the cymbals have plenty of free motion and they're made by TAMA

I love these things. Bought a bunch to replace the weird mounting hardware on my Mapex stands. They are so much better than the traditional screwed style that I don't think I'll ever be going back. Even after many hits from missed ride bells, I've barely seen a scratch.

Work as intended so far.

Definitely no regrets on buying this for my drum set. I gig a lot, disassembling and assembling can be a pain. It definitely speeds up the process and allowing symbols to move a little bit more freely without bumping a metal wing nut. Great value for the money no doubt!

If the quick release would have springs on both side it would be better

I’ve been using these exact TAMA quick releases for 8 years now. I have two sets of 4 in case I lost any and I have yet to lose any of them. I haven’t had any fly off during gigs, no troubles getting them on/off. They’re a little more expensive than others, but I haven’t found any quick releases that have the same quality feel or performance.

I use these on me Alesis Nitro Max Cymbals. The Factory nuts are useless unless really tightened down, which is bad for the cymbals. Thy need a little flop in them. These TAMA locknuts hold well enough that the Cymbals stay tightened to where they stay where they're supposed to. They also look great on the kit. It's Black with the thin Red Wrap in the drum shells, and the red release tabs on the nut locks is a nice touch. Highly recommend for this application.

Love these cymbal nuts. Very quick set ups and hold the cymbals securely.
