If you're like me you've seen the youtube videos where the clueless husband/boyfriend/whateve he is, puts one of these charcoal masks and pulling it off a few minutes later causes extreme pain.Welp, I decided to entertain my 10 year old daughter and see what this is all about. We're bored being socially distant shut ins.So I put this on as directed. I waited the prescribed amount of time and I went in to remove the mask and possibly my skin.Funny thing happened though, it just worked. The mask came off pretty easily, it took the blackheads for the most part with it. My skin felt better. Is it possible this man in the video embellished the pain? Did the internet lie to me?Either way, this mask did it's job, I followed all of the directions and it made my skin feel better. If you wanted that from this product, then buy it. If you wanted to make your pre-teen daughter think your cool like the internet guy... this nor any other product amazon sells that isn't a new ipad won't do the trick. But, if you want to make said pre-teen daughter laugh, go for the nose hair wax kit. Then let her yank the stick out of your nose. For the record, that "beauty" regimen does in fact hurt.

The title basically sums this up. My boyfriend and I tried this product together (his blackheads are larger, but centralized to his nose, mine are smaller but also on my cheeks). It was SUCH a mess. It's like a black tar that takes forever to wash off. My whole sink and counter were stained black for a couple days.As for its effectiveness, it did nothing for me, but managed to slightly remove some of my boyfriend's blackheads. I figured maybe I didn't put a thick enough layer on, so I tried again a few weeks later. I put two heavy layers of the sludge all over my face per the directions, let it dry, and nearly cried trying to get it off.It took a whole layer of skin with it!!! But yet somehow managed to completely avoid removing any blackheads again. I even lost some small hairs around my nose, which was a plus, but immediately after the horrible process, my face was in so much pain. It was blotchy and red, and days later, I still have skin missing and pilled up around my eyes. Hopefully my skin recovers soon, but this product immediately went in the trash.

Finally a product that helps reduce blackheads! I bought this specifically for my nose area. After the first use I noticed a huge difference compared to other brands I've tried where nothing happened. I like that this product isn't painful or irritating to the skin after removing the mask. It was a little tricky to peel it off but once you get that first piece to peel off it's easy peasy! I wouldn't say this completely gets rid of blackheads but it does help reduce them very well.

I put this on my entire face, and it irritated me to no end. My face felt like it was burning and got red immediately after taking it off. Now, I am sensitive, and also this is probably intended more for just chin, nose and forehead (although not specified in instructions). However, I did deduct one star because it is still irritating. Also, it did not do as good a job as I expected in cleaning my nose, forehead, and chin pores, but I assume this needs to be repeated a few times until it really works (or does it?). I gave it 3 stars, but maybe I will update later, depending on how it works in the long term.

Bought this and tried it out and I was very impressed. I was worried that it would hurt to peel it off but it didn't hurt at all. I tried it first only on my nose just to be safe. It comes out as a thick gel like liquid and I spread it all over my nose and let it dry for about 7 minutes. Once it was dry to the touch it did feel a little tighter on my skin. I then grabbed the edge and peeled it off. It pulled the little blackheads out of my pores better than a Biore strip and it didn't hurt at all. Next time I will try it all over my face. I will definitely be buying this again

This is a good mask. I will say, though, that there was no brand or ingredients information on the product I received. If I saw it in a brick-and-mortar store, I would pass it up for that reason. I have used it a couple of times and it leaves your skin very smooth and helps to keep it clear.

It did not rip the skin off my face which was nice. There weren’t a lot of blackheads removed but the mask was cooling and cleansing and not overly drying. All in all not too bad.

I've used this blackhead "remover" multiple times and the only way it even has some effect is if you solely put it like a strip on your nose. It doesn't even come off well as a mask, mainly because of how thin or thick it acts based on its randomness. One day the layers are so thin you can barely lift it off your nose or face w/o cracking it - no blackheads removed. The next day, too thick of layering and you can't remove all of it and your towel gets covered in black charcoal. This product barely works and is a waste of your money.
