MARRIOTTO XWF Water Filter Replacement for GE XWF Refrigerator Water Filter, 3 Pack (Not XWFE)

I am extremely happy with my purchase. These filters are incredibly easy to install and have made a noticeable difference in the quality of the water and ice from my refrigerator. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and everything fit perfectly. I highly recommend these refrigerator water filters. They are affordable, effective, and so easy to install that anyone can do it. If you want to improve the quality of the water and ice from your refrigerator, these filters are a great choice.

Realized my filter had not been replaced since we purchased the new GE refrigerator, quickly checked the GE replacement and then came to Amazon. Although these are made in China, the price made the choice. When they arrived I compared the old with the new and they looked identical so I took the chance and opened the new one. The installation was simple, quick and easy. Just follow directions as to the holes matching up, push in and turn (in my case it was to the right). Snapped the cover shut and drained out a couple gallons. The first 1/2 gallons had a dark look, which is the dust from the charcoal filter (was warned to do this on the GE filter as well). At the end the water was normal color and the taste was no different than the GE filter. Dumped the first tray of filtered water from the ice maker, as a precaution (again warned some charcoal dust may come through those hoses) and all ice since looks normal and clear. I am a satisfied customer.

Great substitute , cheap and easy to install

All right— I just installed it to replace the one that came with my refrigerator. It seems to work all right the problem I have however is that the instructions say to line up the arrow on the cartridge with the arrow on your receptacle— there is no arrow on the cartridge that I could find? I looked it over pretty well and I didn’t see any arrow. Hopefully I have it installed correctly. Price is very good

These are a good value. I have purchased the several times.

It says it is comparable with GE but it is NOT compatible with them all. GE has an rf chip and will only take a GE filter. The filter fits but does NOT work

Have been buying these filters for years. Cost much less than the name brand but work fine.

I bought these to replace the very expensive GE XPFE type filters on my GE GSS23GYPECFS fridge. To do this you must carefully remove the label from the old GE XPFE filter (using 90% alcohol) and preserve the RFID tag that is hidden under the label. Stick this up on to the wall exactly where the filter fits, you will need to remove the plastic sheath on the filter slot to get it to the level where the filter sits. Then install this filter where the old one was. The fridge will think the old XPFE filter is there and will provide you filtered water instead of giving you an error. The filter sensor will still say that the filter needs to be changed but I just go by the taste of the water anyway. F the system! F expensive proprietary parts! You're welcome❤️
