It’s exactly what I needed, but the instructions do not give you the full picture of how annoying it is to install! My wall unit is old… and I had to look through multiple YouTubes to find a similar unit for guidance. The water quality is FANTASTIC! Yummy drinking water from a faucet that smells more like lake water without the filter. So happy with the results.

I needed a filter for my under sink system. They are about $50-59 dollars from Moen. This filter was half the price. It installed with no problem and the water looks as clear as it did with the Moen. Tastes OK too. Should last for 750 gallons--which is a year for me.

I have bought cheap alternatives for the extremely expensive Moen filter from other vendors before and they seemed to work OK. When I saw this AQUACREST filter on Amazon, I bought two because they were about half the price of OEM filter.When first installed, it looked like the filter was working fine and the water seemed clean and odorless. Two months into using this filter, we started getting white particles in the water. They look just like dandruff. They float around and eventually settle down. The tap water does not have any visible impurities, so this debris is coming straight from the filter itself.Moen OEM filter will last at least 6 months and we have some times gone for a year. I had to replace this AQUACREST in just 2 months! Having already made the mistake of buying two of these, we will use up the second one and just go back and surrender to MOEN filter.Decide for yourself - do you want clean water or would you be happy with the perception of saving money? I definitely won't recommend this product; you won't save any money.

Great product for Moen replacement at a third the cost.Water flows faster.I dont know how often I will need to change it.Great value. It's been a long time before I changed it, last longer than a Moen filter.

I always used to dread replacing my Moen filter cartridge because the things were so damn expensive and we use a lot of filtered water at my home. This is the first generic replacement cartridge I've seen for the Moen 9001 and it is AWESOME. Fits perfectly and the water tastes great. Definitely recommend.
