PUMA Men's Faas Lite Mesh Golf Shoe

EDIT - I played my first round in these today and wow. I upgraded the review to 5 stars. Let me get this out of the way. You can't wear these shoes in rain or wet conditions so if you are looking for an all-purpose shoe this isn't it. The day started cool with a lot of dew on the ground still. About the first two to three holes my feet were freezing because the water had seeped in and made my socks a little wet. But as the round progressed they dried quickly and from there it was great. Despite no spikes I had great traction in all aspects including side hills lies and the bunker. Most importantly after a four hour round of golf my feet felt great. I am so pleased with this purchase.Let me start by saying I haven't played a round with these shoes yet. This is based on initial impressions and fit. I did about a month of research before buying my new golf shoes, yes I am a bit neurotic. I settled on these mainly because I like the Puma brand, style and was intrigued by the weight. I was also skeptical that the weight would mean uncomfortable with no support. After reading many reviews on size I went with an 11.5. I generally wear between 11 to 11.5 trending more towards 11. After reading that they might run a bit small I went a 1/2 size up and am glad I did.The first thing you notice is the weight. They are so amazingly light. It's almost unreal. I'm leery if I play in the rain or wet ground because it doesn't seem they will be very good at resisting water. But then again maybe they aren't intended for those conditions. Regardless when I put them on it was instantly clear how comfortable they would be. The support through your entire step is really nice. I took some practice swings and felt good support, but again I haven't played a round yet. I wore them around the house for about an hour and honestly after doing a few things I forgot I had shoes on.

These golf shoes are spike-less, meaning they will only last a couple seasons if you play a lot. They are also very thin and don't offer a lot of support. They also have a mesh front that wont keep water out.That being said they are very comfortable, light and breathable and help keep my feet from getting overheated while walking the course. They are a good value for the price and I don't have to worry about maintaining them like leather. I wouldn't recommend them for serious play, they don't have quite the grip that spikes do. However they are fine for practicing and playing with friends.

I wear PUMA soccer shoes and the sizing is identical.Pros:These are *very* comfortable and incredibly light - think slippers - with the best comparison being my Brooks Adrenaline 14 running shoes. They are a snug, comfortable fit with good support. I had no chafing, no sore spots after 36 wet holes the first day. I was incredibly impressed.Cons:My foot slipped on my follow through on one drive, on a very wet tee box; the spike pattern is probably not ideal for rainy rounds, though that's just honest speculation.My only concern is that they don't necessarily feel like they'll last forever, so I'm buying two pairs! I'm in the sandhills of NC so there are plenty of hills but these may not be sturdy enough to climb mountains.

These shoes are very comfortable and so light it feels like you have no shoes on. I usually wear a size 9 US. and that is what I purchased here. I easily could have went down a half size, however I don't think they are offered in half sizes. I possibly could have even gotten a size 8 US. and would have been fine. I kept the shoes because the way they lace on the foot is very secure and still feels good. I would recommend going a size smaller than normal with this shoe.the shoe is excellent quality and offers ultra light super breathable summer golf shoe. The tread design offers plenty of traction for letting it rip from the tee box too. I have never had issues with traction even in wet conditions in early morning dew.

By no means am I a good golfer so I went for these golf shoes because of the price. They were $40, good enough for me. I read other reviews saying they run big but I took a chance and purchased my normal Zoot running shoe size 12. These shoes fit great. I have played horribly in them twice and have loved wearing them. Can't blame the shoes for my terrible game on and off the course. But hey, I looked good searching for my ball. The spikeless shoe has great grip, they are extremely light weight (similar to my running shoes) and they breath good. I live in Florida so shoes that breath good are a huge plus but then again, I am as cart rider with beer so I just cruise to the ball....hardly any walking involved. I will be buying more of these should I wear them out. Guess I gotta play more golf or maybe I should walk.....nah, more golf.

The shoe fit was a little big, but that's ok because I use inserts, I was a little disappointed on the quality. The bottom inside sole seemed like just a thin flap of rubber. Otherwise, it is very comfortable to wear and very light
