Tending to Grace

My friend told me about this book yesterday. She learned about it from the Redbird writing retreat. Tending to Grace, what a title I thought… She said you're going to like it, sometimes the chapters are really short and succient. And I bought it for my Kindle so I had it right away. I started it this morning, and have beenreading it on and off between my own writing. It's been absolutely wonderful. What a story. What beautiful characters, what a beautiful message. I just hope that Ms. Fusco's other books are just as good. Please read it if you're looking for a treasure. I am going to miss these characters... They're really wonderful people. I look forward to reading it again. And, by the way? I'm an avid reader and I don't think there's more than two books I've ever re-read.

This is a very quick read about an angry and anxious abandoned teenager and an angry and eccentric grieving aunt who find each other and grow to love. I cried buckets. A sweet, set coming of age story. Time well spent.

Great book for teens

Loved it. Had to read it for class, so I did not expect to actually like it. Great read for those interested in how stuttering feels from a personal perspective.

A very interesting book that probably mirrors life better than most best sellers. It has a simplicity that seems very real life like.
