perfect for my picky kitty with kidney issues
I have a 5 year old cat who has kidney issues. Her vet recommended that she be switched to a strictly wet food diet because she needs the extra moisture more that an average kitty (although all cats can benefit from a wet food diet). She just wouldn't give up the dry stuff no matter how many different wet foods i tried with her. I refused to get anything that contained carageenan and although she loves fish flavors, i worried about heavy metal contamination. I found this and decided to give it a try because she also likes beef flavors. It's kind of odd because it is nice shredded bits of beef and chicken, but it is in kind of a gelatinous substance. but really, it gives it a high moisture content which is perfect for her, and she really loves it. she won't even look at the dry food if she has this in front of her. it's a hit every time.Another plus is that is processed in a human food grade facility and Weruva does not take part in or support animal testing, which is very important to me. It's good, high quality food. Perfect.

My cats love this & I like that the food is higher quality and grain free. Only downside is that a lot of the cans have dents by the time they arrive.

MY CATS ARE THROWING UP BLOOD!!!
For most cats this probably will turn out to be one of the worst cat foods out there!Three of my five cats have vomited blood all day, today, from a few different types of these cans this morning. This was the very first time they all tried this food, this morning as well. I would NOT suggest Weruva unless your cat has a VERY strong stomach.

Not a favorite
My kitties weren't a fan. Not even one would eat it.

Real food - for cats!
I feel weird reviewing cat food. It's cat food after all. But, we don't just give our cats any old food these days. Everything has to be better, grain free, extra this and improved that. Sometimes I think the critters eat better than me! Regardless, the Weruva canned food is pretty darn good. It looks like real food! The chicken flavor looks like I just poached a chicken breast and shredded the meat with a little gravy on it. It even smells like real food! The chicken and beef is the same way. In fact, the shrimp and seafood one has actual shrimp in it; not just ground up bits. There are recognizable pieces of whatever flavor inside. On top of all that, it has the required grain free, starch free, and everything else that we wanted to give our kitties. The cats are healthy and have a nice shiny coat so I am pleased with this food more so than any other cat food.

Finally a healthy alternative for my felines with a pleasant odor for humans
Switching cats to all natural, grain free, starch free, carageenan free wet cat food they will like is hard enough, but one that doesn't stink beyond belief? Finally, best of both worlds. They love it while providing excellent nutrition for them and it's stink free for me. No more stinky fishy food.

Great for a sensitive belly.
My cat has the worst food sensitivity! I have gone through so many different brands trying to find something that doesn't upset her stomach, from specialized "sensitive tummy" formulas, to raw cat food. Weruva is one of the few things that she can actually eat without getting sick!
