Nice field watch at a good price, but horrible watch strap.
A decent lightweight, solid field watch at a reasonable price. With the solar charging function, remembering to replace batteries won't be an issue. But that band the watch comes with is one of the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced on a watch even at this price point. One of the reason why I originally purchased this watch was because the watch band looked cool, but it's extremely uncomfortable. I ended up swapping out the band for the Ritche 22mm Military Ballistic Nylon Strap With Black Heavy Buckle Watch Band and swapped out the spring bars for the Wellfit Watch Pins, Heavy Duty Spring Bar to be safe. This combination is far more comfortable when wearing the watch while working or doing other active tasks. The illumination on the hands is also not great. The hands are exposed to direct sunlight most of the day and they're not visible once it gets dark. Charge the hands with a UV light and they glow for a couple of seconds and then go dark.Despite the short comings of the illumination on the hands and the strap, if you're looking for a good looking, budget field watch style watch that you won't mind losing or breaking, that has solar charging this isn't a bad option.

A great field watch
This is the best solar field watch at this price range ($88.50). The design borrows heavily from the Seiko SRPG37. The design of this watch is something that won’t go out of style. My pros and cons:Pros:• Keeps precise time• Stainless casing• Looks timeless• Flat lens (reduces reflection)• Solar powered• 100m water resistant• Red tip on second handCons:• Cheap band (expect to replace it)• Only the hour and minute hand glow in the darkSummary:I think Casio is onto something here. It really is the best field watch at this price. I hope they make more watches with this design. Hopefully with numbers that illuminate in the dark and a higher quality band.

Accurate timekeeping
What do I look for in a watch? Does it keep accurate time? Is it easy to read? Does it fit my kind of style? Is it comfortable? A month in and the time is still right on the money. I love the way it looks, a handsome watch face with a more rugged wrist strap. My only criticism are the sizing holes are just a bit too far apart, so a perfect fit may be in-between and you are stuck with a bit too tight or too loose.

Very well made and easy to set up
I am very used to Swiss Army watches, but the ones I like are getting harder to find. Thought i would try this Casio Military style watch and it turned out to be a very nice watch. I has a nice bold face and the numbers are big so it is easy for me to see. I would buy it again.

Classic look for a good price
Solid field watch. Excellent price. Good weight, comfortable, and functions well. Scratch and water resistant. 90-days in with zero complaints

Excellent field watch
Bought this because I wanted a nice watch to wear in the woods without tearing up my automatics. This watch's closest competitor is the Citizen BM8180 for around twice the price. Both are day date solar powered, and very similar in a lot of aspects. What this Casio has over the Citizen is a raised chapter ring and a very nice sunburst dial which I tried to capture in my picture.Other reviews here state their's second hand hits every indice. Mine hits some, and misses others. Odd as my $16 Casio MQ24-7B2 hits every indice. Regardless it still hits them better than any Citizen or Seiko I've ever seen. The lume is poor, a Casio feature. There is very little slop in the crown and gears when adjusting the time. The watch is substantial in size without being huge, and feels heavy and well built. It's easy to read to the exact minute, and the sunburst dial is a pleasure to look at.The strap is 2 layers, nylon layered over plastic. I put it on a NATO, the width is 22mm.Great watch which I wear often. My only complaint is the second hand missing the indices, which is why I keep my "obsolete" automatics in my rotation.

Watch is great / band is terrible
Keeping perfect time and date, looks good but watch band is terrible. Be prepared to go to jewelers for alternate (I’m on my way) or to anger management for mental health adjustment. Shame on Casio‼️
