With this set, you get so many different colors and they're all vibrant colors. Depending on what I'm making, usually just a few drops is all that is needed. I'm able to use this for cookies, cakes, fondant, frosting, royal icing and even when making homemade playdoh. I made a couple of cakes and I used these food dyes to help with the fondant and frosting. When using this for cakes, to get the desired color, I only needed maybe 3-4 drops on some. Didn't alter the taste of the food but gave the cakes a beautiful, colorful look.

I loved that these are a thin liquid it allows you better control over color. I also like that it's a small amount so that they dont get old. I used the fruit green in wipped cream amd it turned out beautiful

I have a cake that I need to do for tomorrow. I've been to four stores and couldn't find black food coloring, maybe because Halloween is coming? I don't know but everywhere I went was out. In desperation I decided to order online. Now I've bought another brand that has always gone well but they raise their prices drastically so I decided to try something new. I have to admit I was apprehensive especially since I knew I would have very little time to try these out. But this brand had some good ratings so I was hopeful. I regret that. First the size, these are the smallest tubes imaginable. The second the quality., It's about the equivalent of the little 99 cent tubes you get at Walmart. Which isn't a good quality. If you look above I actually wasted 2 tubes of red and all I got was an extremely light pink. For black, I usually mix blacks with chocolate icing to get a nice dark black. And I tried with this. I wasted it entire bottle black and my icing stay brown. So I just had to run to the store to grab some Wilton's food coloring to try to fix this mess. I'm not sure why these have such a positive review, maybe it's good for dying slime. But for cakes this is a hard pass and a complete waste of money.

I expected bigger container but it's just me - Its worth the price.

A great palette of colors in this set, at a great price. These are great for coloring more “wet” recipes like cake batter. Given their liquid makeup, if you plan to use them in frostings, you may need to adjust so that you frosting does not become too loose from the added moisture. I really like the subtle shades created, unlike some other coloring I have tried when a single drop was overkill. The subtitles of these colors lets you gradually adjust the coloring to your liking. 👍👍
