Great Mg but needed P-5-P to get it delivered
I got this form of Mg to help with K2. I love the fact that it didn't upset my stomach. It is a key ingredient needed to help Ca. My Ca to Mg is way off with too much Ca. Here is why I got it and how I needed P-5-P to get the Mg to work. P-5-P is the active form of B6. This is my story after taking K2 MK7 with D3 from Zhou, plus this wonderful Mg from InnovixLabs, it is long;On Wednesday May 17th, I went to our large university hospital ER. My chest pains were just not going away and my husband was getting concerned. I felt they weren’t as severe as the week before but still they were there. Within a ½ hour of walking in they had done an EKG, a chest x-ray and drew blood. Eight hours later I finally got to see a doctor. The bottom line, they had no CLUE as to what was going on with me even though I clearly stated I had started taking K2-MK7 on May 7th. Chest pains started 3 days later on the 10th. One medic was confused and thought I was taking potassium (K) and I had to educate him on vitamin K2! All of the tests they did on me came out negative. After being at the hospital for 9 hours I went home with nothing, no information, no suggestions of what to do but to see my primary. Well, the good news is I had made an appointment back in February to see my primary and that appointment is next week. When you are on Obamacare with Medicaid in my city it takes 4 months to get in to see your doctor this is the norm here.I eventually found something to stop the chest pains it was P-5-P with the InnovixLabs Advanced Mg. Now, I am not saying this will work for anyone else. However, anyone reading this in the future who is looking for what had worked for my symptoms/reaction to MK7 might find this beneficial. It is long and you have been warned.May 7th started K2-MK7 with D3 by ZhouMay 10th serve chest pains shooting across my chest from right to left. It felt electrical not like a muscle cramp.May 11th or 12th received my order of InnovixLabs of Advanced Magnesium. I love this stuff, no stomach issues. I took one in the am and one in the pm to start since I am so sensitive to everything. Continuing to take it daily.May 17 chest pains never went away even with taking the Mg. They were less severe by the 14th but still there. I also had shortness of breath, gout flare ups and pains in my back and arms, and leg cramps too. I felt like a Mack truck hit me, no energy and I felt like crap. Husband insisted I go to the ER and we now know that was a waste of time!May 18th morning and I am still feeling awful, I did some more research on K2 and found that, “...about 25% of the population have, as part of their genetic inheritance, a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) that results in their being unable to convert vitamin B6 into its active form, which is called pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P-5-P). And P-5-P is what gets magnesium into our cells.” https://www.inspire.com/groups/national-osteoporosis-foundation/discussion/part-2-your-bones-by-lara-pizzorno-and-dr-jonathan-v-wright/?page=5#repliesHoly cats, it was like a light bulb came on and was thinking I bet that is one of my problems, my body isn’t making the conversions to get the nutrients or supplements working! I have very high amounts of Ca in my soft tissues and it isn’t being delivered into my bad bones, hence the reason I wanted K2. My body/liver isn’t making the conversion to get the Ca into my bones. So I thought the same could be happening with the Mg. Also, isn’t Mg given to people who have had heart attacks and stokes? Trying to connect the dots here….I tried the P-5-P to see if it would deliver the Mg and lo and behold I think it did!P-5-P is the active form of B6. (FYI, it wasn’t easy to find without a lot of other stuff in it. I finally found it at a small local vitamin shop. I got Thorne Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate 33.8 mg 60 capsules.)May 18th at 1pm I took my new favorite Mg and the P-5-P and within an hour my chest pains had stopped! I was thinking wow this is all that I needed?May 18th 6pm I started having small chest pains but not as bad as before. I took the Mg and P-5-P and within an hour the chest pains were gone again.May 18th 11pm chest pains started again, so I took another round of the Mg and P-5-P. Again within an hour the chest pains stopped. My body was needing these supplements every 5 hours. But I managed to sleep the whole night without any more chest pains. I hadn’t sleep in over a week, yeah I was a walking zombie!May 19th morning no chest pains but I am planning on dosing the Mg and P-5-P at least 3 times if not 4 times today.I still feel that I need vitamin A. My only concern with it will be to see if my body can utilize it. Not being medical at all, I have no idea how vitamin A works in our bodies. Is there a supplement or something that is needed to assist vitamin A should I find it isn’t being absorbed? I am starting to think I need different couriers to deliver these essential vitamins.I had ordered Country Life Natural Vitamin A & D3 last week along with the Thorne MK4 and it was delivered today! I want to try the K2 MK4 without any MK7. Once I get my body healed from this crisis and add the vitamin A & D3, plus additional D3, Mg and P-5-P I will try the 1000 mg MK4 from Thorne. I am still not feeling 100% right but in time I am hopeful I will be.It might be helpful to those reading this to know that I don’t take ANY prescription medication. I am 59 years old with Degenerative Disc Disease, osteopenia, arthritis and gout. I blame the high tissue Ca for all of these problems. If this helps just one person then it was worth the time to write it.

High quality, bio-available form of magnesium from reputable company; Great value for the price; Highly recommended
Out of all the supplements I take, magnesium is the one that I'm most confident has a definite positive impact on my health. If you just read about all the things that magnesium is responsible for regulating in our bodies, it's pretty incredible. Combine that with the fact that many, many people don't get nearly enough magnesium due to its depletion from the food sources we traditionally obtained it from and the crappy diet of the average person in Western society and it's no wonder that so many people experience many symptoms of magnesium deficiency. In my case specifically, I've had trouble falling and staying asleep ever since I was young. Even as a fit and overall healthy teenager who played several sports and had a health-conscious mom I remember lying awake for hours many nights, unable to fall asleep. Worse, many times after I did get to sleep I would wake up constantly throughout the night and never achieve the deeper sleep that's so important for our brains. I can't count the number of times I went to school feeling tired, and how often I had to fight to keep my eyes open during class. This continued on into my adult years until recently, after I developed an interest in nutrition and began researching it in my spare time as a hobby. After reading learning about magnesium's role in our body and how often people don't get enough of it (and specifically how important it is for sleep quality) I began supplementing it and immediately noticed results. When I take a high quality magnesium supplement I'm able to fall asleep much more easily and I sleep MUCH more soundly throughout the night. It's really, really easy to prove anecdotally, in my case. On days that I take magnesium I sleep better. Whenever I don't sleep as well, I can invariably trace it back to forgetting my supplements the day before. Now, the most important part of all this (in my opinion): taking a HIGH-QUALITY magnesium supplement. This is where you have to be careful. Bio-availability is critical when supplementing vitamins and minerals. If your body can't absorb what you're taking, you're not going to benefit and it can actually have negative side effects. For instance, several forms of magnesium (often the cheapest to produce and therefore the ones that get used in low-quality supplements) are actually used as laxatives. It's important to take magnesium in a form your body can readily absorb and which won't cause gastric issues. The forms of magnesium used in this product, magnesium glycinate and magnesium malate, are two of the more bio-available forms and are also gentle on the stomach. I've previously taken the slow-release magnesium supplement from Jigsaw, which is also terrific. However, it's quite a bit more expensive than InnovixLabs' magnesium and I haven't experienced the slow-release mechanism to actually make a difference.I also like this product specifically because I feel that InnovixLabs/OmegaVia are a trustworthy company that produces high quality supplements. I've used their fish oil in the past and take their Vitamin K-2 supplement regularly. One of their co-founders, Vin Kutty, writes very informative and well-sourced nutrition and supplement-related blog posts on the OmegaVia website that have been extremely useful to me in my pursuit of nutrition information. I have a lot of confidence in the quality of their products due to how much effort Mr. Kutty puts into freely sharing his extensive knowledge, and his obvious passion for evidence-based nutrition and health science.Overall, I think that magnesium is one of the supplements that almost everyone should consider taking, and there's a lot of supporting evidence for this if you care to look. I trust InnovixLabs to produce quality products, and have had very good results with this one specifically. It makes a noticeable difference in the quality of my sleep. My wife has long had issues with muscle cramps and minor restless-leg symptoms during the night (both potential signs of low magnesium levels). Since she began taking magnesium supplements those issues have completely ceased. I highly recommend this product.--------------------------Update with some more anecdotal evidence:Since I wrote this review both my parents have begun taking magnesium as well. My dad takes a lower-quality brand you can find in supermarkets and my mom takes this specific product. They've both experienced very positive results in a short period of time.My dad goes for long runs/hikes in some foothills near their house. He was constantly getting horrible muscle cramps during or after he got home. After he mentioned this to me I recognized it as a common issue associated with lack of magnesium and suggested he test a supplement out just to see if anything changed. He went and bought one of the more widely-known brands from a nearby store and since starting to take it hasn't experienced a single cramp. My mom had similar sleep issues to mine and also had just read about the benefits of magnesium and chronic lack of it in most peoples' diets. She asked me for a recommendation for a brand to try and I suggested this one. She noticed immediate positive effects in her sleep quality and overall feeling of energy since starting. So, totally anecdotal but I still highly recommend magnesium supplementation in general and this product specifically.

Good Supplement but makes me sooo sleepy
There's always this mystery around whether or not vitamin supplements are actually working or doing anything for our bodies. I can tell you this supplement is definitely doing something. It makes me sooo sleepy.I didn't start taking this for anything to do with sleep, and I can't tolerate the full dose (2 pills per day) because of the sleepiness it causes. So I take one every other day. But I have to be careful about when I take it because within an hour I will be falling asleep. If you're looking for something that's not a drug to help with sleep, this will work. For me, it makes me a little too sleepy. That's not to say it's not working in other ways though.

I use this at night. Seems to be gentle on the stomach. After using it, I have no more waking up with lower leg cramps.

Don’t take at night
I have been taking this at night and I kept waking up at 12, 1, 2.. etc. I found out that magnesium malate is actually energizing not relaxing. This is better for morning/afternoon and just a magnesium glycinate supplement before bed.

Non irritating
Some magnesium supplements are larger and harder to swallow and can irritate my stomach. This product doesn’t
