Cutier Car Dashboard Phone Holder Air Vent Mount 360 Degree Rotation Adjustable Mobile Clip Stand Suitable for 4-7 Inches Smartphones

Ordered twice due to 1st one arriving with a broken mount nut and had to return for replacement. 2nd one arrived with the air vent mount missing from package but not a big deal for me as I didn’t plan to use it. I ordered this for lack of a suction cup mount as I live in a higher temperature region and reading how others experienced issues with suction cups and high temperatures. I liked the idea of this slipping onto the dashboard for easy on/off to keep out of the sun. Unfortunately, this won’t work for either of my vehicles dashboards because they’re too thick. I’m able to mount this right above the engine cover in my van but that defeats the purpose for getting the mount. I want my phone located at eye level for navigation, not needing to look down to see the map.Amazon sent the replacement immediately when I called to report the problem with the first one (one reason why I have Prime) and refunded the cost when I reported the issue with the second unit and did not have to return this time. I won’t be able to use it but perhaps someone else can. I think I would really like it if it had just fit on my dashboard.I’ve ordered a different type/brand which mounts with a suction cup since I found one I had, but forgot, and it seems like it’ll work for my truck but I want one for my van as I don’t want to have to transfer things between different vehicles.Overall, I like this phone mount but it just didn’t work for me. This appears to be a good phone mount if it works/fits in your vehicle and arrives with all components intact.

The ad shows that it should go in front of the steering wheel on the dashboard, but that's not a realistic and safe place for a phone to go, so I clip it to the dash above where my radio screen is (middle/right of driver). It works but it needs the following upgrades:- No-slip-grip on clip (Me moving my phone in and out of the holders moves the clip that it pops off the dash.- Extender of the arm holding the phone (It's just out of reach from the middle of the dash to the driver's seat that I need to lean to reach it. Adding a longer arm or adjustable one would help.)- adjustable width for holder (dream idea, but because I sick a ring on my case, the phone won't fit in the holder in the center, I have to move it up and cover my power/volume buttons.)- stronger rotator (due to my phone not sitting in the holder in the middle, the weight rotates the phone askew when put in landscape mode.)Overall, it would for the price. I do not like vent clips as it covers air flow and I do not want to stick something to my windshield and block my driving view.

Due to the style vents, cd player placement etc in my car, I had a hard time finding a solution for a phone mount. I saw this and took the risk and I'm so happy I did! This works great in my 2014 Equinox to mount directly over the radio/screen. After using for awhile now it keeps falling off of the dash where it's mounted and my phone and the mount go flying to the floor.

In the past, I’ve used a suction and vent phone holder. Well I needed something that didn’t constantly fall and opted for this option.Super easy to use/install. It has foam padding to prevent scraping the dashboard. The cradle holds a iPhone 12 with the speck presidio case on it. I would say it’s snug alright so I have to use two hands when taking the device out of the cradle. It doesn’t move or fall down which is what I had problems with the previous two. Just a note that you should probably use this with your phone in landscape mode otherwise the phone will likely obstruct your driving view if in portrait.I gave it a 4/5 because the angle at which the phone sits has the potential to cause a large screen glare if it was sunny-this is something I have yet to test but I can’t control the weather prior to this review.

Awesome car mount that works great, but not without it's flaws. Firstly, the price of this mount justifies the purchase 100%, but if something costs so little, there's no way quality parts can be used for every aspect. That is the case in this situation. While the vast majority of this mount is made very well, I do have a problem.The mount itself fits great on my BMW's dashboard however the piece that holds the phone doesn't work all that well. It's hard to explain but basically the joint between the piece that holds the phone and the piece that clips to the dash is secured by a plastic nut that threads on. Unfortunately this doesn't clamp down tight enough and makes getting the phone in the mount difficult. Once the phone is 8n, getting the phone back out is also hard as the mount moves around while you're trying to push on the spring. A fighters fitting but would solve this.As for myself, I solved this by applying a small amount of super glue to the ball joint (no glue applied in contact with car) which connects the mount to the clip in a position that works. This has fixed all problems with the mount although now it is no longer adjustable.

You get two mounting options in this kit for the price of one, and the construction of the mounts and the cradle are solid and a simple design. The mount on an air vent provides much more stable support than others I've tried, and has a small footprint that helps you set it well. The mount for the dash relies on your dash having a lip on the top edge to slide it onto, so make sure you have a place to firmly clip it that has enough depth and is not too wide.The cradle is a simple design and holds the phone firmly, so firmly that, to be fair, it's not as easy to place the phone and remove the phone as it would be for a cradle with a quick release. The firm grip and small footprint of the cradle make it much easier to position, and it doesn't move when the car is going over bumps or experiencing other vibrations or sharp turns. It also makes it easier to used the smartphone screen without the phone moving around.

Didn't fit my dash as well as it looked like it would. Very disappointed in this product. Look elsewhere.
