Good reliable camera
I am a complete novice whennit comes to photography but I must say this Nikon D3500 is am easy system to navigate and works well for both beginners and advanced photographers. I had no trouble setting up the camera and was ready to take pictures straight away after a quick charge of the battery. I have tried a couple of the settings and the camera does not fail to impress. Am looking forward to usibg this much more in the future.

Cracker
Brilliant little camera smaller than my other slr's but packed full of features and working very good only tried with one lens at the moment 35mm fixed and the results are Brilliant, not tried the stock lens that came with the camera. Got it connected to my Samsung mobile phone via Snap-Bridge and it working fine sends photos over to my phone. Really pleased with it if anything goes wrong will let you know.

Great for beginners
I’m fairly new to photography so can’t give an in-depth review on ISO quality and all the rest but as a beginner it’s great. I’ve got some good shots with it a couple I’ve attached and slowly learning the manual stuff. Many would say the guide mode is pointless but I like it as it explains the settings and can easily duplicate them in manual mode. The auto focus is fast probably not as fast as the more expensive lens. For myself without experience of more expensive cameras I’m very happy with it. Only downside is SnapBridge the app that connects the camera to your smartphone, the downloads are painfully slow so would recommend getting a card reader to attach directly to your phone to download images if you’re not using a laptop.

Would highly recommend the Nikon d3500 as a starter camera
Bought this camera for taking up photography after reading lots of reviews and every time the nikon d3500 came up tops for the beginners.

Great camera but battery missing
Was looking forward to getting this camera but unfortunately the battery was missing.
