Input voltage: AC 110-220V ± 15% Output: DC 0-48V 10A Rated power: 480W In-door use only, for this switching power supply is not waterproof. LED display shows you real-time voltage, which makes it more convenient for you to adjust voltage. Built-in cooling fan, over temperature protection, overheating automatic shutdown protection; output overvoltage, overcurrent and short circuit protection. Pay attention to positive and negative, do not reverse.

WATCH VIDEO! IT's ONLY A 360 WATT 36V SUPPLY NOT A 48V SUPPLY, WILL NOT SUPPLY OVER 37 volts loaded.
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the 480 power supply. It arrived with a spare potentiometer and terminals. Upon connecting properly for testing, I found that this is a glorified 36 volt power supply. i tried both potentiometers with the shipped unit. It would supply 49.8 volts only up to a load of about 0.1 amps. When used with Loads above 0.1 amps, the voltage dropped to 37.1 volts no matter what. This is essentially a glorified 36 volt power supply and in no way will it provide 48 volts at 10 amps / 480 watts. Do not purchase if you need voltages higher than 36 volts under load. Only a 360 watt power supply. this unit was tested with 110 volts ac input and the 230/110 voltage selector switch was placed in the 110v position.

Needs to be tested by UL.
Bought two of these for hobby use. Added power plug and plugged into a GFI receptacle. Tripped GFI receptacle immediately. Lifted ground wire from supply case, receptacle did not trip. Using a high resistance meter measured 172 volts ac from metal case to ground. Touched ground wire to metal case, tripped the GFI again. What bothered me was that I drew a substatial spark when doing that so I was not willing to take a chance touching the supply case. I then decided to plug into a regular non GFI receptacle and it seemed to work ok. I removed the GFI receptacle and replaced with a regular receptacle. Thinking I was done I remounted and closed everything. Plugged the supplies back in and powered them up. A snap and a puff of smoke! This time the breaker tripped. One of the supplies shorted out transformed to a paper weight. Needless to say I will be looking for something else.

Unit did not operate correctly
I have 2 other very similar supplies that I am using. This one is supposed to be variable voltage 0 to 48V at 10 amps. Like another similar unit I have you have to change out the potentiometer to get smooth adjustment. Easy Peasy changeout. However when I hooked it up on the bench and dialed in 40 volts it sagged immediately to 31 volts with a 3 amp load. There are no current limiting adjustments and no matter what voltage I set it to it did not regulate at all with even a 2 amp load.

Can I get enough use out of this before it electrocutes me?
Props to the seller for sending me an opened unit with plastic torn off and the information cards missing despite buying "brand new". Honestly this thing scares me to death. The voltage select switch on the side required me to virtually chisel it into the correct mode in order to use. The coils make a low but audible sizzle at anything above 30 volts, and the voltage range goes up to nearly 60 on my unit putting out 600 watts. This is one of those products you stare at for a second after sending power to it to watch for arcing and other lethal debauchery. Voltage accuracy is .5 to 1% depending on power drawn. I changed out the metal potentiometer for a hard plastic large knob and have it sitting on a rubber pad, buy and use at your own risk.

Make certain your voltage is selected
Overall the product is a great value. The only caution I would recommend is that the company should put a label indicating that the voltage switch needs to be selected which is mounted on the side of the unit.

Great PV simulator
Use to simulate solar panels to my MPPT and charge a battery in the winter months. Works really well.

Time will tell.
Working well, though drops down in voltage when it is drawn on, from 40 volts down to 36-37 volts.
