This is the third time I've ordered these towels. They're great bath towels, soft and absorbent, and look great in the bath. We use them daily, and they typically last about two years before they just get worn out (I wash them once or twice each week in hot water and bleach, so they may last longer for others). For the price, these are a great value. Excellent quality!

We purchased 2 sets of Utopia Towels 700 GSM Cotton 27-Inch-by-54-Inch Bath Towel Set, Set of 4, White. I am very satisfied with these purchases. We wash these towels regularly, at least 1-2 times each week and they look as good as the first day I purchased them.DURABILITY: From previous towels and different brands that I have used, I have begun to see wear within the first 6 months of buying them, but these towels have withstood a large amount of washing. I have purchased these Utopia towels exactly 1 year ago, this month. I have not seen any of these towels that I have purchased from Utopia begin to fray or tear. All the strings are still sown into the towels. That is one of my biggest pet peeves with towels is when the strings come loose.SIZE: When shopping for new towels for our family, I did not consider the size. Once I received the towels, I noticed they were larger than our old towels. I have enjoyed the extra length of the Utopia towels. For shoppers who have very long hair, mine is to the bottom of my back, I would recommend this towel. It is long enough to cover all my hair while wrapped on my head. My older towels that were standard size would not cover the end of my hair which allowed water to drip. The Utopia towels are 27 inches by 54 inches.COLOR: These towels have 3 color choices to choose from. I decided to choose the white sets. The reason I preferred white was for the ability to bleach them in each wash. No discoloration has happened during this last year. The bleach has not affected the towels at all. The towels are also great with not holding onto stains. My makeup gets on the towels regularly and has not been affected by it.MATERIAL: I remember the first week of washing these towels, they had an extreme amount of lint that came off the towels. After that, I would say a normal amount of lint comes off such as any cloth. These towels are very thick and absorbent which my entire family enjoys. I don’t feel that the towels are too heavy, but the quality is superb. The towels have not hardened or become scratchy. I feel they are soft after being washed for a year now.PRICE: Everyone looks to save money. I felt that the quality for this price was perfect. They are reasonable price for such a durable towel.

Good value, rich dense texture!

I couldn't afford the Mercedes for my midlife crisis, so I decided to treat myself to a real luxury towel. These towel are so incredibly thick, that I can dry my body and hair, while the other side of the towel remains dry. So technically, two people, or even three (if you are into ménage à trois) , can use the same towel, without running out of absorbency. But I will caution you, these towels are hogs in your washing machine. They are big and very thick, not allowing much else in your washer. They do hold up well after several washes, so far. I hope this is of some help.Here is a 2021 update: I bought 8 of these WHITE towels 5 years ago. I use them for my body and hair, never as a floor mat. I wash them once a week and they are a full load all by themselves. I use hot water, detergent and BLEACH against recommendations. There is only minimal shedding in the dryer's lint trap after 5 years. If I were to flatten them out and fold them nicely, you could never tell that they weren't brand new. If you read a negative review about these gems, it's all bull. If you are the kind of person that uses them to clean your bathroom and then throw them on the bathroom floor and your dog regularly pees on them, you will probably not get the same results as I have. I hope to live long enough to buy a new set, but these are the only ones I would ever consider buying again. Thank you.

Super soft and high quality

These are nice towels but they do not dry as well as what I am looking for. They also were thinner than I wanted and they lost a lot of fiber during laundering, which may be fairly normal the first time but might be something that the manufacturer would do as it is disconcerting to see at home. So I will look for something that better meets my expectations.

Most wash them and should before first use but when I used the first one right out of the package, it immediately reminded me of using a luxury hotel towel from the 90s. VERY absorbent, soft and doesn't feel cheap like many do these days. When washed, it acted exactly the same x 4 so I have to give this option a strong 5 stars!

I personally like these towels in the color white. They are not heavy for how thick they are. They absorb water very well when drying off.
