At eight month old I took my GSD to vets because she was limping all the time... come to find out with X-ray she did not have a hip socket vet told me to put her on this and since she has been on this she has never limped again and she just turned four years old and doing great... I even ran out one time for a month and she was still good during that time too until I found it here on Amazon. As soon as I find picture I took of her X-ray I will upload it.

I think this works just a good as the Cosequin soft chews. My dog likes the flavor of the supplement. The price here is a good value.

My poor fur baby was having some pain in her hips that wouldn't go away - she'd crawl under the bed and whine all night (it broke my heart!) so neither of us got any sleep - massaging seemed to help but I don't always have the time between work and life, in general. She's a large dog, so I know it's not unusual to see hip displaysia or joint problems so I did a bit of research; I didn't want her to have to go through a surgery - she's got 3 brothers that like to rough-house so recovery would be difficult and that would be the last resort. Having knee-joint pain myself, glucosamine has always made my joints feel better so I wanted to see if I could find something like that for her. My search led me to this - it had all the joint lubrication properties I've been familiar with in glucosamine and claimed it could help repair the damage within and it was very highly recommended and rated on nearly every site I found - we didn't have anything to lose (except more sleep) so I ordered it. Within a few days her pain went away, which I was greatly relieved to see - for her to complain/whine in the first place was a great testament to the pain she was in :( - and she seemed to like the taste (we'd taken them before in the past but she never liked the taste but begrudgingly ate them at my behest; they smell like they taste better too :P). She still hobbles around sometimes but cooler/wet weather has always made us flare up but all-in-all, it's helped so much. I'm so grateful to have found this and it worked faster (6-8 weeks is what it claims, which is typical for ANY meds) than I could have hoped for. We've only been taking it for a little over 4 weeks - I'm hoping to see full results soon! She's my precious angel and I want her to always be her sweet, happy self!

My Chico has a bad left arm. When he was a pup before we got him, someone or something stepped on it and it formed crooked as he became older. Like almost broken. Well he is 7 years old now. And since he was 5 yrs old, his left arm bothers him and he will limp. We have tried many, many different brands and kinds of joint supplements. And safe to say, this one is the best!! He doesn’t limp as much, we give it to him daily. No side effects. It works! We will purchase it again once he runs out!! I highly suggest it. I understand each dog is different, for my Chico this one works!

I was skeptical to try this. We have a 10 year old golden retriever mix that could not get up and down the stairs to go outside anymore. He was also having trouble just getting up from a laying down position. We figured he was just getting old and that that was just the way it was. In a last ditch effort I bought this...and it actually worked. Like I said, I am skeptical about any medicines, especially animal meds, but literally after one dose our dog was like a totally different dog. Not just moving around fine, but much more energy and is even jumping around and playing with our younger dog again. Even though he is 70 lbs I am now only giving him half a tablet a day and he is literally up and running again. I don't write many reviews, but this product really does work.

My dog does like the taste of these and will eat them with no problem. But I’m not sure if it’s helping. He still has trouble with his back legs/hips because of arthritis. It’s hard to tell if it would be even worse without these supplements. He is a rescue dog from the shelter so his age is not certain, but the vet estimates him at about 13 years. Maybe he’s too old and his arthritis is too advanced. I’ll have to take him back to the vet and see if there are other options to improve his quality of life.

I am on my second dog using this. I have given it ro both since they were puppies for minor joint issues and it's prevented discomfort, the need for pain killers, and in one case the need for surgery. Highly recommend.

Updating my review, adding that final star. After several weeks use, my parent's dog is considerably better and not limping at all now. I am convinced.First impression is that these big ugly tablets would be next to impossible to get any dog to take. I was totally wrong. Bought these for my parents dog, who was diagnosed with a "trick knee" so I read up on it and this supplement was one of the recommended things to try. She gobbled the pill up, and has every day since. Not sure yet if it will help, will come back in 4-6 weeks to update. I like that for a smaller dog, you break the pill in half. We should be able to see with just one bottle if it helps her or not.

didn't make a difference. not tasty to my dogs. didn't last long for large breeds. 2 weeks.
