PS73614 Floor Drum Fan, 14, Red

Added this fan to the top of my gazebo and aimed it down. The red blades on low setting give a slowmotion effect that people actually notice and talk about. Any other fan in this price range would not get this attention.

The box says 'High Velocity Drum Fan'. Well, it is no where near high velocity. Unfortunately the drum aspect of this fan can't help the weak air flow produced by the motor and fan. Like another reviewer stated, at 5 feet away you really cannot feel it much.It's also quite noisy for the minimal air movement. It runs smooth, no rattles or shaking, just fan-blade noise and not real bad but at the amount of noise it's making you'd expect to feel a lot more airflow.Lucky for me mine arrived with a big dent in the side so it's going back. Even with Amazons generous incitement to keep it I didn't feel it was worth the price considering. Don't know if I just got a weak performer with a bad blade or if they're all like this but I'm shopping for a different brand now.

This thing puts out a pitiful amount of air for a supposed industrial style drum fan. I have one hanging in my garage at head height you can't feel 5 foot away. I only paid 35 bucks for mine and still wanted to send it back. I would have been really mad if I had spent 80 like is listed here.
