Quick and clean
So far I love this tool. Makes stripping the fiber drops so much faster and easier. The ergonomics could be a little better but it's still much better than the blue jonard tool.

makes cutting flat cable a breeze! heads up though, BUY EXTRA RAZORS ! they break/dull down pretty fast. wish they sold a 25/50/100 pack of razors lol

Better than Jonard
Nice that it opens how it does, never have to thread the cable through like I used to when using my Jonard. So easy to use and feels sturdy. You can store an extra blade within it as well as the Allen wrench needed to replace them, which it comes with! Love it worth every penny.

Great Tool
So far has been a great tool. Blades last longer than the blue Jonard one. Better cut when slitting. Will recommend.

The tubes of jonard blades are compatible with this.
I build a bunch of polygon fiber hubs and terminals for towns all over the place. For 2 years now I have been using the Jonard slitter and it’s not bad but the blades don’t stick out far enough and does t always slit through to make opening the fiber easy. This tool cuts straight through the strength members and opens the fiber up to the buffer tube with no issue. If you need the strength members intact be careful.

Easier and faster to use than the one that Jonard makes.
It is easier to use than the competitor's equivalent; no disassembly needed for mid-sheathe use. It is also more comfortable in the hand. The spare blades and maintenance tool included are a nice bonus that isn't included from the competitor.
